Staff are very helpful and knowledgable!No pressure to buy anything and often they don’t mind just chatting about equipment and camping experiences. Very honest whenever I’ve bought anything and don’t seem like they’re just out to sell you things you don’t need! Always make sure we pop in whenever we’re in the area.P.S quality of clothing and equipment is second to none!

Rather poor choice and what there is is quite expensive! The salesman seems indifferent to customers to the point where he was more interested in his phone than greeting and helping customers.The comments I have made are my opinion and relevant to my experience at the time I visited the shop. Trying to intimate and berate someone who gives a review they don't like is not cool.

The best customer service I have received in a long time. Never had a problem, shop is well laid out, and Marks knowledge about his products is amazing. If it's not in stock, he will be happy to order it in usually within a week depending on the product! Keep up the work!

Spread over two floors, it is very much like any other Army Surplus Store.You are able to pick off the shelves any of the myriad of sizes available - just make sure you understand the sizing method.eg Trousers have a figure for the waist (pretty normal), the inside leg (still standard) but they then have one for SEAT too.If memory serves shirts have Collar, Chest & Height!Anyway, ask for help if you can't find what you need and you'll be fine. The shop is a great addition to Ross' selection.

Brilliant! Went away with my partner to a camping trip and this store has everything you would need and more! The man who seemed to be the owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.I do a lot of work with army cadets also, and this place is a cadets dream!Definitely check the place out, well worth it, thank you for all your help!

Very helpful staff, knowledgeable, not at all pushy, was spot on with sizing just by looking at me. I bought an Austrian M65 goretex jacket that looked brand new at a great price. I wish I had bought some more kit but was on the bike so space was a premium. Gave us an excellent recommendation for somewhere nearby to eat too. I will definitely be back.

Located in the middle of the high street, full of army things and camping equipment. Went in with my partner to hear music playing which was a nice relaxing atmosphere. Man behind the counter seemed pretty genuine and gave personal service, something you don't get in most shops now days. Visited other shops but didn't get the same experience. Need to see it!!
