1 star for bad service from David Wilson. Been in contact with them about maintaining the road / pavement / green areas which they are obliged to do as they have not handed over to any external company of council. They always reply we will look into it" but the area has not been maintained since before winter....I am writing this review 2 months after I already flagged them several times the issue."

Run AWAY from David Wilson Homes and Matthew Elsegood. We reserved an almost half a million pounds plot with David Wilson Homes and put a deposit of £500. Two days before exchange our Buyer pulls out so we asked Matthew Elsegood Sales Manager at David Wilson Homes to extend our reservation period so we could find a buyer very quickly as we were ready to exchange. They canceled our plot against our will without notice and on top of that they kept £150 from our deposit when we were willing to keep the plot and it was not our fault. We were left with no buyer and no plot. THIS IS HOW MUCH DAVID WILSON HOMES CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Their customer service is just appalling and disgusting. Never again.

Shocking sales experience. in short, simply the most incompetent bunch I've ever dealt with. Clearly stringing people along making all types of judgements about who they are selling" houses to. Quite frankly couldn't sell themselves out of a paper bag!"

Lovely properties and design

My experience and opinion is of very poorly trained sales staff who make some significant errors.So if you must buy on Brooklands, record all conversations with sales staff and make sure you get hold of the costs of flooring,tiling and so forth. No much is included in the basic spec of the property.Oh and I hope you like the smell of human waste from the nearby human waste recycling plant all summer. Lovely stuff.I have first-hand experience of having had a house reservation cancelled on the 28th day because exchange of contracts would have taken 1-2 more days. The property was cancelled and resold for more money. Horrible stressful period of my life, thankfully not buying from DWH was a blessing.
