Sheene Mill - Weddings

Had a great time hosting a birthday celebration for my mum here. The conservatory is beautiful and just perfect for smaller gatherings. Events team was also really helpful both in the run up to the event and on the day!

We recently had our wedding at Sheene mill and I can honestly say it was the perfect day!The venue is stunning! The staff went above and beyond to meet our requests, the food (we had a bbq) was delicious! The rooms were beautiful, I do hope all the rooms are brought up to the standard of rooms 8 & 9 as these are the very best rooms!There is loads of parking, a fully stocked bar, a stunning flower wall, lots of beautiful trinkets and ornaments around that add that little something extra! A beautiful place!Helen was Fantastic on our day and ensured everything went okay!Thank you all of Sheene milk for the best day!

My husband and I hired the conservatory on 10th December so that we could host 27 family members for a celebratory lunch to mark our 40th wedding anniversary.The welcome was warm and the staff extremely helpful and polite. The conservatory was beautifully decorated as it was so close to Christmas and the food was just perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests on the choice of venue and the meal. Although it was cold and wet, we were able to get some group photos outside on the decking during a break in the clouds and of ourselves in the pergola by the river. The setting is delightful and must be even better in sunshine!!Thank you so much to everyone for making it such a perfect day and we hope to return for a Sunday lunch in the near future!!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding.We went to see Sheene Mill as our first venue and absolutely fell in love.Helen supported us all the way through from planning the day to being an absolute positive force on our big day. Staff couldn't have made it more special if they tried.The locations is beautiful with places to sit outside and inside to chat and spend time with loved ones, the pavilion overlooks the river running through Sheene Mill.Absolutely wonderful day and couldn't be happier.Thank you so much!

We had our wedding here and it was a truly brilliant day helped by the lovely staff who went out of their way to help us with all the little extra bits thought the day. Amazing location and beautiful setting, we had the best time here. Really great vegetarian food too!Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

We had a party for my 80th birthday in the conservatory. It is a splendid location, and if it isn’t raining, the gardens are beautiful. As one would expect, the service was exceptional, and the staff were cheerful and attentive. The food was excellent, and whole event was a resounding success. We are looking forward to our next visit!

We only looked at one venue and knew from the moment we walked in this was our place!We had our wedding reception at Sheene Mill and I cannot put into words how perfect the venue, service and food was. It was everything we ever wanted and the team were just fabulous looking after everyone with big smiles and warming atmosphere. Our friends and family couldn’t stop complimenting the venue.We opted for a buffet as opposed to a sit down meal and the food was brilliant, everybody loved it.We had some guests stay at the venue and the rooms were perfect.A huge thank you to the team and everyone involved in making it a perfect day. Sheene Mill will forever hold a place in our hearts and we’ll be coming frequently for roast dinners and afternoon tea!

Excellent service. Came to Sheene Mill for afternoon tea with my bridesmaids (my partner and I have booked our wedding here next October). Staff were so friendly and polite throughout. They left you alone long enough to enjoy your food/drinks but not so long you were left without anything. Food was AMAZING! Very good value for money and drinks were bottomless which was great. The sausage rolls and the scones were particularly great. Very accomodating for dietary needs (we had one veggie, a gluten free veggie and a strawberry allergy) those with requirements were completely seperate and we were notified which plates were for which requirement when they came out. We asked to sit out on the terrace after the tea which they then put out some comfy cushions at a table for us to sit at. We sat talking for quite some time and were the last ones left at the venue so apologies to the staff who were ever so patient and stayed behind till we left. We all had a lovely time and will definitely be trying your Sunday roast next. Keep doing what you are doing - would be interested in a bottomless brunch if this is something you would look into doing. Don't think we can wait till Oct 24 before we visit again!

Throughout the planning of our wedding we had excellent help, advice and care from our wedding coordinator. On the day the venue looked spectacular and every member of staff was friendly and efficient.Our rooms were all good and very comfortable.The food was exquisite!

Sheene Mill was the perfect venue for our wedding day, it had everything we were looking for and more.We were drawn to the stunning outdoor space which allowed us to have our ceremony outside, as well as garden games.Inside there are multiple different areas for guests to mingle, and we especially loved the little room next to the conservatory which we set up as a kids activity area.Helen and the team are total professionals and were so calming and incredible on the day, ensuring that everything ran seamlessly.The food was amazing, including the delicious breakfast the following morning!We love that Sheene Mill is more than just a wedding venue and can't wait to return for future special celebrations.
