Owner confused my daughter's Cockerpoo (Teddy) with my friend's Yorkiepoo (Duggie) & would not accept they were totally different dogs. Duggie was very difficult to groom & needed members of his family around him, whereas Teddy, our dog, was nervous but not to that extent & was there on his 2nd visit! The owner just continued to argue with me that my dog was Duggie & said he wouldn't groom him. Very unprofessional & argumentative. He just would not listen or discuss that they were different dogs? Would not recommend for young or nervous dogs & will never return!! Photos of Teddie with white chest & Duggie who is all black.

Cannot recommend Style A Dog enough. My dog is 14, nearly 15 years old and so scared with having her nails clipped I have been managing to do them myself in bits at a time but then they were far too long. I got in touch with Mandy and John at Style A Dog, Normanton and they were so nice. My partner went in the shop with Maxi and I couldnt believe it when 2 minutes later they came out all done. No fuss at all after all my anxiety....we borrowed a muzzle just in case but she was good bless her and I believe this is because they were so good with her. So for all the hassle I could have done this ages ago and will definitely go again and really highly recommend John and Mandy and Style A Dog, they are brilliant.

She is always a bit more like a boarder collie when she comes home, very nice and quiet place to be will be having her back soon for her birthday wash and blow dry

First and second time we went was really good very friendly and dogs cut great.However the third visit was not so great the dogs were cut uneven on their faces and just didnt look right. Not only that the customer service was terrible we dropped them off and then returned around 2 hours later as it normally took this amount of time we didnt say anything just sat in the shop and waited. We could her the owner in the back talking about us saying how long do they think it takes to cut 2 f#####g dogs, could they do it in 2 f#####g hours. So we decided to go wait outside. 5 mins later he rang to say they were ready... so we went in and he took the money and gave us the dogs never asked if they wanted booking in again in 6 weeks like they usually do, no thank you or goodbye.Just a reminder if the customer is in the shop dont swear and speak about them as they can hear you!
