There’s a man who works here named Simon, and he is without a doubt the loveliest person you can imagine. We talked at length about scripts we both liked, and he recommended a show to me based on our conversation that turned out to be great and exactly what I was looking for! Seriously, meeting him alone is worth a visit. He’s a vault of knowledge, and a very sweet person.

Can we get a round of applause for Simon please? He's the gentleman I spoke to yesterday at the bookshop. He was the perfect salesman. He left me alone to browse and then when I asked him for some recommendations, the man came to life! I walked away with 4 plays for less than £30. Simon's passion for theatre was clear and he did an outstanding job giving me a brief background to the plays he recommend. Simon was knowledgeable and at no times did I feel he was trying to get me to spend my money. If you are in the area please visit. It is worth it.

The website has the wrong hours. Was disappointed to come on a Sunday to see that it was shut.
