Sync EV

Very Happy with the service. From start to finish, the process took about 3 weeks. The electrician was very friendly and respected Covid rules. He did a lovey tidy job. When we had a small issue, they were very responsive over the weekend.

Loads of problems with the charger, many times it’s flashing red and can’t charge. Customer service just tell you to reboot or re register but doesn’t come to fix the problem.

Have Octopus Go smart charging, cost 5p per Kw between 00:30 and 04:30. I plug in my MG ZSEV earlier in the evening, the charger connects and then keeps the car awake with low power pulse delivering full 7 KWh at 00:30. The charging history shows graph of the charge. Excellent unobtrusive design expertly installed - gov grant received.

When we booked Sync EV install the new EV point I had no idea that the power going into my home would not be enough to house the new 7.2KW Charger i ordered.Thankfully Sync EV did know and arranged all the works to be done prior to fitting (this was digging up drive - bringing in new supply and fuse unit - putting back the drive to its former state - these works were carried out by UK power Networks)Once the above was done SYNV EV's team came in fitted the unit exactly where i wanted (there units are nice and compact - but i hardly want it as a feature at the front of my house!)The guys were in and out in 45 mins from start to finish.Great Service -

Good service from the first contact with helpful discussions about installing an EV charger. On the day of the install all went perfectly and was done neatly. So far we are very happy with our smart new EVCP Sync charge point. Thanks, Ben.

Extremely poor customer service. Do not respond to email (which is now the only way to contact them). Would avoid based on inability to deal with issues (2nd charger from them that has also developed another fault).

Absolutely fantastic charge point , After a few small issues that were very quickly explain and dealt with. I am extremely happy with my overall experience the charger is fantastic and the people who I dealt with were so helpful and took the time to make sure that I completely understood how to use the charger .

What a great company and product! Had a few teething issues initially but mostly down to my miss-understanding. They now have a new APP out and its much improved and easier to use. Any Emails/calls have been quickly responded too and their support guys are fully clued up and in the know. Very happy with my choice and would highly recommend!

The process of ordering right through to fitting of the charge point was so easy and straightforward. The charge point is small compared to others on the market and sits unobtrusively on the side of my porch. The fitters did a superb and very neat job on the installation. There is no exposed cable at all to the charge point. The guys were really helpful as well when setting up the app and linking the charge point to it. I am waiting for my vehicle to be delivered so can't comment on its use yet. However when the test machine was attached using the app seemed easy and set up was really quick. This particular box so comes with an RF card which can be used to start and stop charging, very hand! All in all very pleased with the product and installation.
