Pauline Whittaker Dog Training School

We have worked with Pauline to continue the socialisation of my dog, as well as attending training and scent work classes. Pauline is a brilliant dog trainer (and owner trainer), with a brilliant skill of reading your dog's behaviour and being able guide you to support them. We have massively seen our dog's confidence improve and really love how welcoming Pauline and the other dog owners are.

I first met Pauline when I thought I had an aggressive collie so she came to our home for a 1-2-1 session.I soon learnt that the behaviour my dog was displaying was pure puppy behaviour!!!! (First time puppy owner!)We’ve enjoyed various classes from basic trainingto agility and more recently a scent workshop. Paulines classes are fun and informative and Cara and I have learnt so much.Cara, although not perfect is responding well and she enjoys the classes too. As soon as I pick up our bag of doggy essentials she knows where we are going!!Thanks to Pauline and her other trainers who are also professional I’m enjoying life with my best friend - Cara.

We have used PWDTS for 8 years now. We began with the puppy, socialisation and obedience classes for our two sprockets and moved on to agility. They both love the classes. I have been training with Pauline for 7 years with my border collie. We have been involved with agility, recall workshops, social walks and we have just started scentwork. We have enjoyed every class as Pauline makes them fun, and that is the best way to learn. Scentwork is great for dogs of all types, ages and backgrounds! Rosa survived on the streets of Romania but ended up in a “Killing shelter” in Calarasi. She is clever and her background has made her resourceful and a very independent thinker. After adopting her, we joined Pauline’s classes to give her an opportunity to use her intelligence and natural talents whilst developing our bond. Pauline recently came to our house for a one-to-one session, with our cockapoo puppy. Pauline was very friendly and we felt extremely comfortable talking to her. Our puppy, Mabel fell in love with her.Pauline has a great deal of knowledge and was able to give us lots of useful advice and suggestions. I sought help from Pauline with my very nervous collie puppy 6 years ago and have remained with her ever since. I am now training my two pug cross pups with her. Lots of courses, workshops and taster sessions for you and your dog to enjoy together. Highly recommended

We used Pauline initially for puppy classes 18 months ago and more recently for 1-1 bespoke training sessions. She is very knowledgeable and was very quick to diagnose the problem (less than 5 minutes) to assist with lose lead training. After months of struggling in this area, it really was a relief to be guided correctly.Pauline offers a number of group training sessions at varying locations throughout Worcestershire. She is also happy to visit your home and offer more tailored 1-1 sessions, which we opted for, in order to try and replicate the real life, day to day situation.Pauline is very punctual and efficient. The online booking service is excellent and feeds into your e-calendar. A pre visit questionnaire online enables the sessions to be as effective as possible and gives her the information she needs ahead of time.More generally, the Facebook page and website are both useful and informative tools too.Besides training, we have asked her advice on our dogs diet, foods, medical needs and behavior so the service on offer is varied and rounded.Do approach Pauline for all you dog needs".
