Lane Ends Holiday Cottage

For us, the location was absolutely perfect. We needed easy access into Manchester, but much preferred a place to stay with beautiful views, and surrounded by countryside, which we could explore in the short time that we had available.The cottage was just beautiful to stay in, Lucy was a most thoughtful and communicative host, making us feel very welcome, and we so wished that we could have stayed longer. She really has considered all of the needs of her guests.Would 100% recommend and would 100% come and stay again.

Where do I start? This beautifully renovated family cottage has to be seen to be believed. Its charm speaks for itself, but added to that, it is a real home from home. It has everything you could possibly need to make for a comfortable stay. Everything from the fixtures and fittings to the linen is of top quality. Each room has original art work. Furthermore, it's located in an area of outstanding beauty.I highly recommend this prestigious property.

We have just spent a lovely few days here with our two nervous rescue doggos. What a gorgeous house and great location. Edge of the peak District, quiet lane alongside house for dog walks, only 10 minutes walk into town. We prefer to park up for the week and walk everywhere so this was perfect. Lots of pubs eateries to choose from. Lucy is an amazing host, always on hand to help. Could not recommend enough, thank you!!

Such a wonderful holiday cottage. High quality fixtures and fittings together with a warm and welcoming space. Bed really co.fortable and everything we needed was provided.Lucy and Carl made us very welcome with emails before we went. Wine, chocolates and flowers for us with tea, coffee and milk.Dogs made welcome with towels and toys.Disley nicely situated with Lyme Park on the doorstep, pubs and shops locally.Excellent dog walks from the Cottage.We visited Lyme Park, Quarry Bank mills, Disley, Buxton, High Peak bookshop near Buxton, New Mills but mostly chilled at the cottage.Highly recommend staying at Lane Ends Cottage. Lanes End Cottage is a beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean cottage that has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The owner, Lucy, is very friendly and helpful and the welcome pack she provided was very much appreciated. There are many great walks, either directly from the door or a short drive away, so we and our dogs were able to enjoy a different walk every day. This was when the tiled ante room proved particularly useful as it meant we could make sure they were clean before entering the main house. We had a very enjoyable stay and shall miss waking up every morning to the lovely views.
