Great sausages. Great service. Legendary and local. A must visit whenever near.

Had a birthday BBQ for 30 people. Burgers, sausages, chicken skewers plus even some vegi things supplied. All were excalent and comments included best burgers ever tasted, any more sausages! Thank you very much Butchers on the Green

Always great service from the guys here.Thier produce is great quality, as locally sourced as possible. But this does mean that the stock can change week to week.They generally will always have the staples in though, like great beef and amazing sausages.And all the products (sausages, burgers, mini roasts) are made by them and normally gluten free.If you want the best bacon you'll ever taste ask for the beer & black treacle, cured themselves, makes amazing breakfast.And if you like spice, see if they have thier Carolina reaper sausages in, totally knock your pants off!!They have contact details on Facebook if you want to check before you travel to them.

So good. The quality of meat from this shop is extraordinary : no need to go to Danestream etc. This stuff is top notch. The steak (sirloin) last night - a bit of self indulgence - was exquisite. Previously chicken, bangers and pork has all been excellent. So there you have it- top drawer quality and reliable. Yum!

I defiantly would not go here again!I bought two steaks, one was for my wife which was a fillet which was so fatty in the middle she couldn't eat it, when i took it back the next day he just shrugged his shoulder and said oh well.I'm all for supporting local business but when there service is beyond awful i would not go back.

Ordered one of the special offer meat packs, everything was packed for the freezer a real bonus.All the meat has been very tasty, the gammon was the best we have tasted in a long time. The chicken and the pork equally fine.Will certainly be ordering more.

fantastic service and food, always found the meat to be best quality and always helpful to help with items they don't normally stock , for example they produce salt beef for myself. can't fault this butchers or the team that work their

Very friendly staff, good quality meat and interesting range of prepared meats, stir-fry, kievs, marinated meats. So nice to have a local butcher including gluten free sausages, burgers, and many other options including stuffing mix!
