Brilliant as the staff were brilliant and helpful not only to the visitors but to the residents

Quite place

Very disappointed. Made an appointment with reception, to be shown round by the Manager, with a view to a self funded room for my 90 year old mum. I arrived in plenty of time, and was asked to sit on a bench type seat in the hall. Was completely forgotten about for twenty minutes, despite being directly opposite reception and the Manager wandering around looking at me! I was then approached by the receptionist and told the Manager couldn't see me after all, and I would be shown round by a member of staff when they were free. I can't comment on the care, or the home in general - and I can see this is a lovely building, but if this is how they treat prospective residents and their families, I'm not interested in placing my family member here. I made my excuses and left.

My father in law has been a resident at Northcote Lodge for nearly two years now.The care taken by (every) staff member has been excellent from the very start.Everyone is friendly, from the management right through to the behind the scenes maintenance team.The home is spotless , always.My father in law loves" his comfortable home
