£500 to instal 3 garden lights is ridiculous price. All the lamps were already fixed to the fence, ready to connect to a socket in the garden. Together with an EICR test this bill was £850 and it seems that it is the legislation that is enabling electrical companies to inflate their prices for doing simple work at eye-watering cost.
