We first met Nigel in 2008 (when we set up our business) and have been a customer ever since.The service that we’ve received over the years has been second to none, with Nigel and David always being happy to go over and above, answering any questions that we send to them in a very timely manner.We are extremely happy with the service that we receive and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Acconomy.

I had a few accountants passed around to me, the last was the best, she left roughly around the time I could no longer stay (not related) , she was good. I was new to contracting, and while I’m solely accountable for paying HMRC, the mess created as a result of choosing acconomy extended over years until my final accountant sorted it out. It was well within their gift to ensure my new business (that needed guidance and was assured guidance) was doing the right things at the right time, years later it’s sorted, and while the director skirted around accountability at the time in a phone call to discuss WTH, he assured me it would be taken care of, only when someone finally had the skill and grit to address this mess… they needed paying for their time, it was me that got the invoice on-top if the monthly costs…the same costs that included creating this mess. Don’t use them. Having to pay for a mess that was a direct result of working with acconomy was the reason I left.-- Owner - in response, to your below comment, you're right, I was wrong about why a former employee had left, who's name I've removed at her reques prior to your comment below, (you've re-introduced it) - the reason I stuck with you guys was because if anyone was going to sort this out, it was the people that where discharging their accounting duties casually in the first place, rather than lump it on another accountancy, that's why I left as soon as it was completed, by your former staff that has since left,- with regards to communication between us, if I get my sent items and your sent items, you'll see more from me, you just have to be honest about it.fundamentally: would my accounts have been in the state they where in for years had there been appropriate hand-over as I'm passed around accountants ? - I struggle to say noshould I be charged for the cleanup - I struggle to say yesshould the person responsible for sorting it out be paid - certainly! (if that's a new person lumped with the issue)by me ? - I struggle to say yes.- anything else being discussed in this post is irrelevant.

Im a self employed sole trader, im very pleased with the tax returns that they do for me.
