ChargePoint Charging Station

Pain in the a**e charing system that requires another smartphone app and deposit uploading to your account. It has a built in RFID reader, so why they can't offer pay as you go debit and credit card payments is a mystery. Having said that, there is a good selection of sockets and charge types with a selection of tethered and untethered fittings. This does cause confusion and problems if you can only pull up to a tethered connection, as first gen users won't be able to use these CCS2 connections. No CHAdeMO, so was only able to charge at 3.6kW using my own type 2 connector.The graph and charging estimated millage rates are useful, but not worth the hassle of a simply pay as you charge station.

Plenty of charging stations, well laid out. 7kw are free. 22kw only charge at 10-11kwh so you pay for a premium service which you dont receive. Surely illegal to charge full rate when this is the permanent state of affairs and not a glitch.

Good chargers and always one available when I’ve visited. They reduce charge rate at peak times so sometimes they charge at 1-2kWh.

Worked fine with a contact less card. Not very fast, 10-12.5kw max, not 22 as listed, but fine if staying for a while.

Was not able to pay with credit card. Very slow option anyways...

Total rubbish. Had 4 cards now all with £10 credit. Only ever managed to charge successfully once after dozens of trips and phonecards to customer help.. absolute joke. Can't wait to see what happens when this 7000 car carpark is full of tesla. Will sell and buy another diesel. Absolute disgrace and they want us all to go electric. Hahaha. It will never happen

Some chargers say free and some say 22kw but they all charge fast charger rate and you only get 7kw max, pointless really, shame
