Our boss often gets cakes from here for office parties. They are always delicious and everyone enjoys them. I asked her where she gets these great cakes and visited today. They also have ready meals of different sizes. They have plenty of veggie choices too.Everything is marked as veggie or gluten free on the front which is very helpful.I bought some desserts for the freezer to bring out at Easter. I'm sure everyone will be a impressed. Much better than any supermarket branded cakes or desserts. Restaurant quality.Looking forward to trying the savory food. I already know the desserts are good !

Great for good quality meals that are frozen when you do not wish to cook.Helpful staff too and quite a lot of options.

What a shame, I had heard great things about this place but was immediately put off by the very aloof and rude shop assistant who served us. Shop visits in the current climate (especially to independent stores) are a rarity so it would have been nice to have been greeted in a courteous manner rather than as though our presence was an imposition to her. First impressions count, and if the front facing staff cannot bring themselves to give a warm welcome, I can justifiable see why someone would just march right back out again.

Rude staff member and mediocre food.I tried one of the curries today and it didn't taste very good. I had high expectations, but unfortunately the food failed to meet them.The staff inside were very stand offish and I didn't feel welcome at all. I even tried to make chit chat but was completely ignored. The same staff member was very warm to other people in the store. I only came in to pick up an order. I feel like for a store that only sells frozen meals, the least you would expect is the service to be outstanding and welcoming. I would have had a better experience if I had got my orders through a vending machine.I want to try the cakes but I don't want to go back in that store. I guess I'll go to Loughton to have a look, maybe the staff there are nicer.

I have tried various ready meal options over the years cuz I'm a lazy cook. Wiltshire farm foods i didn't go much on as they tasted like they needed a good shake of salt. Cook for me seem to have got the right balance in that the meals are tasty and their menu is vast and varied. My only gripe is that they are a little expensive for me to eat all the time.
