Pluckley Railway Station Car Park
I was keen to visit the train station in order to see the post box which I discovered was a Queen ElizabethII wall box. This was previously a King George box but I not sure which George.It is a small rural station manned by a kindly gentleman called Brian who has created a lovely atmosphere of railway history. I enjoyed looking around and I appreciated his help which added to my happiness and knowledge.

Space markings quite faded in places, only 50 spaces so quite small, badly repaired potholes.

It is very much a train stop parking lot and they've done a wonderful job of not getting distracted from their core values of being just that.Parking in close proximity to where the train boards.Well done.What more could you ask for?

Only staffed weekday mornings, quaint historic building, used to house the village Post office, still has many of the old fittings. Probably the only part of the village that doesn't have a resident ghost.
