Would give 0 stars if i could. If you're thinking of using this company DONT!! I have been waiting for them to finish my half built wardrobe for 5 months and have had about 7 cancellations from them. If by some chance someone does make it out, they dont have any supplies and dont even know what they're supposed to do. The worst run company i have ever had the displeasure of using. Stay as far away from this company as you can!!

Avoid like the plague. They unilaterally rearranged installation of built in wardrobes without scheduling with us. Useless company, day wasted due to their lack of basic communication and customer service.

Disgusting customer service. No updates on our order which we paid in full for. Unanswered requests on updates for weeks at a time. GOODING GROUP lied to us saying a fitter had attended the property to size up the storage. No appology. Only today this information has come to light and I have requested a full refund. Buyer beware, look at other reviews which speak for themselves. What a waste of time and effort.

Cheap rubbish and so rude

I cant even give this company 1 star for customer service but dont have the option for giving half a star. We bought a cupboard through Taylor Wimpey for our new house, try getting a second cupboard as a private customer. 4 Months later and they have just been to see a fault on the first cupboard. How long before they fix it?

When we purchased our new-build home, we chose to have wardrobes fitted as an additional option before we moved in. Gooding Group are the company used by our developers so we chose 2 wardrobes from their catalogue and they were fitted by Gooding Group in August, shortly before we completed on the house.After they were fitted, our developers noticed that one of the wardrobes had been fitted in the wrong place, despite it being drawn onto the plans and the order containing a slanting panel for the slanted ceiling. When our developers told Gooding Group of the error, they initially refused to come back and move it, saying that it wasn’t possible to do. We said that if it wasn’t in the place we had requested, we didn’t want it so did return to move it.When we moved in in September, I noticed some large scratches down the side of one of the wardrobe panels and reported it to our developer as one of our initial snags. The developer referred this on to Gooding Group, who called me to arrange for someone to come and replace the end panel. The earliest date they could do was in October as that was the next time one of their fitters was in the area. The day before the scheduled date, I received a phone call to say that they would have to reschedule and I was given a new date in November. I waited in on the date arranged only to receive a phone call at 1pm that day telling me that the fitter would no longer be coming as he didn’t have time that day. I was told that the fitter would come one day during the week beginning 10th December. That week came and went and no-one turned up so I contacted Gooding Group and was told that somebody would come on 3rd January. The day before that day, I received an email explaining that they wouldn’t be able to come and fit it then because they had lost the new end panel that had been ordered.What a comedy of errors! I would not recommend Gooding Group – after over 4 months, 4 cancelled appointments and a lot of terrible communication, I am left with a damaged product and a company who clearly have no interest in fixing it.

We had Gooding’s Wardrobes installed in our new home through our builders, contrary to what I’ve seen posted the quality is very good and so we contacted them direct for prices on extra wardrobes once we had moved in.We were put in touch with one of the Sales Managers Simon who contacted us and was able to give us a price very quickly as they have their customers house designs on file.Prices were a little more than we had paid our builders, but a lot cheaper than I had been given by others; a survey was arranged which literally took about 10 minutes and then we liaised with the office and our 2 extra wardrobes were fitted 5 or 6 weeks later. We are very pleased with them, and personally have no problem recommending Gooding’s.

We ordered 4 wardrobe in Gooding and the installation was very good! Thx Sam for his professional works! They are good services from quotation to after service! I would recommend Gooding for my friends!

Very poor customer service, several times did not stand to their promise. After not replying for two month, was reassured in the beginning of March that sales(Simon White)will get back to me, it is the end of April and no sign of that. Don’t know how company survives with such poor customer service. Plus sheds bad light on my developer who uses them.
