Autohaus Campervan Conversions

From the start to the finish, I must say Autohaus (Tony and his team) were so professional. Nothing was too much trouble when designing and making the camper van, any problems were sorted straight away. I would recommend this company to anyone who would like a professional camper van conversion, would not hesitate to use this company again.

Totally first class service from the initial enquiry to completion, nothing is too much trouble. The build quality is second to none, very precise, clean and tidy throughout. The whole experience was fun and professional. Tony the Owner / Manager has a great depth of knowledge, he is very approachable and has a good sense of humour all of which adds to the enjoyment of dealing with Autohaus and I can't finish without saying Noelene in reception / office is so helpful and accommodating, she goes that extra step to assure all is as one wishes. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Returned back to Scotland after visiting Autohaus to have some updates done to the campervan. Bought new from the team a few years ago and cannot praise them highly enough for the amazing service they provide and also the amazing van they built for us. It's a fair trek down to Minehead from Scotland but when we were searching for a van initially we wanted a company approved by the manufacturer and they were by far the best for workmanship design and finish and just so happened they were a great team to deal with. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I would like to thank Autohaus for supplying our new Ashton 94 which is our first camper. What a superb job they done and the quality is 1st class. So if you are looking to purchase a camper I would highly recommend that you check this company out.

We chose Autohaus after visiting the NEC show, the Ashton model was what we were looking for and we particularly liked the fact that Autohaus campervans are type approved.Everyone at Autohaus was great to deal with during the conversion and handover (especially Noelene!). We live a distance from Minehead so photos of progress were greatly appreciated. Autohaus were flexible and understanding when we had a family bereavement around pickup time. Since purchase, we've been in touch with questions a few times and always get a helpful and quick response from Chris & Noelene.Definitely recommend Autohaus if you're looking for a quality campervan conversion.

I can’t praise Tony and his team enough. Their knowledge and expertise helped us to get our 1st campervan which is perfect for our needs. The quality of workmanship is excellent with on site CNC precision cut units which means all internal cabinets fit flush and seamless with the curves of the van. They clearly have confidence in the end product which they back with a 3 year warranty on the conversion work. The aftercare service whether this be by way of telephone (thank you Steve and Noelene) or in the workshop has been exemplary. I would not go anywhere else if we ever decide to upgrade to a VW Crafter!

We had looked at the minefield of buying a new or second hand camper van and we ended up at the Caravan and Motor home show at the NEC. After spending all day looking at different makes of van and conversions, we got to the Autohaus stand, Tony could not have been more helpful even letting us try the bed. We bought the show van and pick it up a fortnight latter after it had been valeted and a tow bar fitted. When we picked it up the staff could not have been more helpful. Tony gave us a tour of the factory and explained what we need to know about using the equipment in the van, even fitting a dog restraint, when our son said he may take his dog in it. Noelene was really helpful in the office.We have been really pleased with the van, and just spent 4 weeks touring France and Spain in it and had no problems at all, and the bed is big enough for the two of us.

A lovely looking van, just what we wanted. Autohaus met all of our expectations in terms of the final build and promised delivery date. We received the specification we asked for and the team made the whole experience a pleasure.During the build we had good communication with Tony, Noelene and Chris. They kept us updated with the progress of the van conversion.We look forward to getting out camping come the spring. We purchased our van at the end of the season so have not yet have to make full use of it as yet.

Really disappointed with serviceDecided to stretch the budget for the perfect van and because Autohaus had a good reputation for service. After a 6 week wait (involving us having to chase the registration) we were really looking forward to collecting it.On arrival the first thing we noticed was there was no number plates on the vehicle. It hadn’t been picked up by the staff when they’d checked the vehicle. When we pointed it out, We were assured they’d been ordered so were shown the vehicle. We waited for the guys to come back from lunch to sort a couple of tie down rings. Then we waited …After 2.5 hrs I had to give in, and left for work. The idea that after spending £60k on something really nice, my husband and I might get to collect it together was obviously too much to expect.My husband hung around for over 4 hours before it was finally ready. If something as basic as number plates can be forgotten, I’m worried about what other, not so obvious omissions, have also been missed.
