This was in the perfect location for us as it's just a 5 minute walk from the Park and Ride into Oxford city centre. Saves all the hassle and cost of trying to park in the city. The rooms are fairly basic but that's reflected in the price and they are more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable. They don't come in and make up the room as in more pricey hotels but they do come in and top up the tea and coffee etc and bring fresh towels. We found the reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Booked for one night, checked in, no electricity since 10am, I checked in at 17.10 walked around in darkness had to us e torch for lighting. No showers as not hot water. Had to sit In room in darkness till 7.15 when taxi collected me. Got back lights on but left early after a rough night's sleep...

Friendly staff, spacious room, comfortable mattress and pillows. However, I would rate it 2 stars because the bathroom was not clean and not convenient at all. The curtain was dirty, insects were coming from the hole, and it was difficult to stand beneath the water. The towels and the carpet didn't feel clean either. Additionally, there is no elevator, and the sockets are not near the bed.

Family room located in a part of the hotel with no lift and I had a suitcase and a child in tow... Not ideal. Toilet dripping all night and no way of letting reception know because there is no phone in the room and I couldn't go back down and leave my child. Smell of weed from outside so couldn't even keep the window open to let some fresh air in.Never again. Save your money or spend a bit more for a holiday Inn across the road!

Great service by hotel supervisor Luli and all the staff. Room was big and clean. Parking is not to bad £4 for 24 hours and services next door for food and drinks. BB are At hotel for £5.50 and location is very close to town. Definitely I will be back again.

We booked a room last minute for a trip to Oxford. Our room was huge and quiet so we could have the window open without being disturbed by road noise. Everywhere was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for the park and ride but be aware the last bus back on a Sunday is 7pm (there are other routes that pass close by but they involve a 10-15 minute walk back to the hotel on unlit paths along the main road). The only negative was I'd paid for WiFi but couldn't sign in. I used up the free 30 minutes trying to reset my password but the email with the link to reset never arrived (not even in spam) so I couldn't use the WiFi I'd paid for.

The hospitality I received was the best.Luli was very helpful, courteous, polite ,ordered Taxis for me and offered assistance to me to make my stay more comfortable. I really wish to meet more people with her good manners and care for others..Lovely lady.

Everything about the place was expected (basic), but staff were very nice and helpful. Car parking was cheap, and with the park and ride next door meant I didn't have to drive into Oxford and pay for parking.Only real issue was the power cut on the Friday night. It was our last night and planned to get away early. Packing by phone torch not ideal, and no hot water for showers. Had about 5 hours in the room without power. Staff were still very nice even though they were a bit stressed with it all.Would stay here again if going back to Oxford. Was even good for getting to London, used the park and ride (£5 return for 2 of us) then train into Paddington (pre-booked a few months ago, paid £24 return).
