Shelley absolutely smashed some sort of service record and she did it so effectively. She knew exactly what I needed, gave me all the instructions and ensured I left the store with everything sorted. She honestly made my day by making it so smooth considering how challenging I thought the process would be.

A busy place which needs more staff as the staff that are there are rushed off their feet. However they continue with a smile and are extremely helpful . Thank you, you provide an essential service and it is appreciated.

I've used this PO for some years now, mainly because it's the closest for when I need it - after previously using the excellent Bedford Street one (sad that ever closed tbh)Although this has a stormy past in WH Smith, Shelley and her new team (in the past few months) are doing everything they can to make it a better, more friendly service and they've all been super helpful each time.Keep up the good work, and support your local :D

Bad customer service and attitude. Queued 15 minutes to be told the Amazon counter phone needed charging, come back in 20 minutes. Why is this not checked at the start of the day? Why did the employee who spoke to me in the queue not check the counter phone straight away? They didn't know and didn't care. Avoid.

Sadly the post office is no longer a reliable option for postage. There are several post offices in Exeter and without fail over the past 6 months I have found myself walking a couple of miles to my nearest one and it is closed due to staff shortages (or without any reason at all).Usually I would walk another mile to this post office but today it was also closed due to shortages. What a nuisance.

Shelley is the only decent thing about the Post Office so I would give her 5 stars. She works quickly and always with a positive attitude. What takes the biscuit though is that the manager is too lazy to cash up so has made all of the self service tills card only. I'll be making a formal complaint because legal tender should never be refused. The queues are always long and I hear so many customers complaining because they want to use CASH but the lazy manager switched all the machines to card only. Ever since the post office moved to WHSmith, it's been diabolical.
