Replaced the failing hard drive on my PC. Amazingly quick service (less than three hours!) Very helpful and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. PC works properly again now.

The unexpected can always happen and when a telegraph pole near our home was struck by lightning last week, the power surge destroyed my elderly desktop pc's motherboard.Although John was due to go on holiday in a couple of days' time, he sourced a replacement motherboard and fixed the pc within two days, at a very competitive price. The pc now runs exactly as before and I haven't lost a single programme.I shall certainly be going to John Cooper for future pc problems and have no hesitation in recommending his expertise and friendly reassuring manner. Excellent service all round. Laptop was dead and having tried some basic recovery it seemed terminal. Contacted Action IT and was able to drop it off the same day. Costs were clearly outlined in advance, and prognosis was open and honest in 'a worst case scenario' sort of way. The best I could hope for was to recover some of my data, maybe. However, 48 hours later all my data was recovered and my laptop had a new hard drive and operating system...all for less than a third of what a new laptop would have cost me. Super pleased and would thoroughly recommend this service.

When my desktop Mac Pro went into serious melt-down recently I was obliged to seek out someone who knew about such things. I had the great good fortune to find an ad in Yellowpages for Action IT Support. In spite of my Mac being one of the very first versions of the Pro, John Cooper was able to track down the necessary spares (a graphics card and DVD writer) to effect the repairs and return it in better health than before the catastrophe, at the same time fitting a WiFi card, bringing it into the 21st century. Following a technical problem with my hotel wifi network l called John Cooper at Action IT Support ltd. I had never done business with this company before, but they offered to come out immediately to sort out my problem.Not only was the problem solved but with some tweaking and repositioning of access points the hotel network worked at a better and more stable speed that achieved in the past. I was delighted with the service received.

Despite being just 6 months out of warranty, SONY didn't want to know when my laptop crashed. But John Cooper did. He took the laptop, restored all my family photos, my saved emails and documents. He fitted a Western Digital HDD and told me how to 'save' my work to a separate hard drive. The laptop looks more professional, has features I now find useful.
