Cuttlefish Eco Salon + Training Academy

I visited Fabio in the Hove branch today and loved it. I normally go to the Brighton shop but was very happy to try somewhere new. The new premises are smart, bright and airy. A real asset to the Cuttlefish brand.To top it off, a lady stopped me on my way home, to tell me they loved my haircut and where did I get it? Made my day!

I was excited about having Cuttlefish in Hove, I went to book a haircut, they had a slot available in 3 days time. So the lady at the desk asked me for a £25 reservation fee, to wich I disagree. My one star review is not because I disagree with the booking system. Every business that call itself ethical, seems to be ethical until we get to the money subject. I would suggest to Cuttlefish to get more creative about it, how ethical can be to hold someones £25 for 3 days, when you haven't even provided a service yet? As a new customer I don't even know if the haircut is worth paying £25 in advance for its reservation.Hopefully, one day, eco/ethical/green/sustainable credentials will be more holistic" (progresive people from the area love the idea of wholeness) taking into account that Eco/Ethical/Sustainable concept should serve in greater measure

I had my hair cut by James and coloured by George today and could not be happier with the experience and result! Such lovely and friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. They listened to my requests and did an amazing job, with such attention to detail. Even got compliments on my hair straight after leaving! Will be coming back, thank you so much!

Been going to Cuttlefish in Brighton for several years. Thought I would check out the new branch in Hove. Although its a different branch, with some new staff, it's the same friendly, cool, chilled vibe.They always do a great cut, listen to what I want, and give me a cut that works for me! Fab is great, he is always ready with new ideas and knows what will work with my hair and personal style.
