Had a broken mic jack on my Canon R6 and was booked to shoot just four days later. Dropped it off with Alan and he turned it around in less than 24 hours and it’s as good as new. Other places were quoting double and a three week turnaround! Would recommend to anyone.10/10

Another company told me the helicoid was too worn on my lens for repair (the focus ring was loose/uneven and there was also some side to side movement). Not wanting it to end up as an expensive paperweight (!), I sought Alan as a second opinion. Within a week or two, and for a very reasonable price, he stripped the lens, cleaned, re-lubricated, and guess what? It works perfectly now, and will do so for many years to come. A great initial experience, and he now has another of my lenses to service! A++

This company was recommended to me by a friend who had used Alan to fix his lens. I was quite worried about sending my expensive lens for repair hence I went by this recommendation.Alan Marlow who owns this business is the most responsive, kind, helpful, person, who knows his stuff.He does not overcharge, in fact, the time I sent my Canon 5 MK2 to him as it had an intermittent fault, he didn't charge me anything despite him taking it apart and testing it several times over a few days to find the fault which wouldn't happen. He sent it back to me and it continued to work perfectly.I have also sent him one of my Canon lenses as the motor had stopped working so it wouldn't focus. I had my lens back and working within a few days.Today, I received my husbands camera back from A M Technical Services. Again he fixed it at a very reasonable price.Thank you Alan.
