The Sea Sauna

I've been to this sauna a few times this year and it's always a good time. They are up to two saunas now; the barrel one is smaller and nicer if you're only going with a couple of other people and want it to be a little quieter. There is also an option for a quiet 30 minute session, but I haven't tried that yet. The view out across Portrane beech and the water is lovely, with a glass wall at the end of the saunas.The only downfall is that I don't find the cold water hoses supplied to be very powerful and the alternative is a walk down through the car park on to the rocky beech. The dip in the sea is worth it though.

I have been to The Sea Sauna a number of times and I have always had a great experience.Andrew has made every effort to make the experience seamless.The quality of both Sauna's is second to none and the view is the cherry on top.Ellen, another host working at the sauna has been so lovely greeting us and making us feel so welcome for a relaxing sauna and the odd dunk in the sea!Google unfortunately only allows 5 stars but I would give it 10!Also; definitely get a coffee and a treat at the Carriage coffee trailer next door. Service and a smile!

Whether you are new to the sauna or a return customer , you are treated with the same lovely warm smile and welcome.The sauna is a short distance from the beach but the sea sauna team will always advise on the sea and when it's too rough provide alternatives for the cold water therapy element.Would love to gate keep this fantastic service but they deserve all their success !

Such a cute setup. Two saunas, right beside the beach in beautiful Portrane. Highly recommend for a mini retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I have alot of experience in outdoor sauna's coming from the Co.Waterford coastline.I must say this was a fantastic experience with friendly staff and good chats with other clientele there too. Sauna was clean, with a beautiful view.I will certainly be back.

I have been using the Sea Sauna frequently for the past year and it has become a staple to my weekends. Excellent service, hospitable staff and a positive energy. Highlight to my week.

Great sauna, piping hot! The beach is less than a min walk and you can still get in to the sea at low tide which is great. There is also a coffee truck beside them where I got a lovely chai and cake afterwards. Love it!
