A Tidy Mind - Cheshire & North Staffs

I recently moved…with more things than I needed. After unpacking I immediately knew I needed help getting my office organised. I made a desperate call and sent an email to Eileen. She answered the distress call. Eileen came and helped me with both my office and kitchen. With 4 hours she worked diligently and graciously in helping me sort throw, charity, sell. One 4 hour session gave me tremendous relief and a place to work. :)

Eileen of A Tidy Mind helped me, when I was totally overwhelmed and disorganised, to get control of my house and life. Her patience and empathy enabled success where I would otherwise have given up and I absorbed techniques that will help me to keep control going forward. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I've had the pleasure of working with Eileen twice now (and I'm hoping we will tackle some more clutter another day!). We organised my utility room on one occasion and my kitchen cupboards on the second occasion and it has changed my life! Everything now has a place and I can find everything with ease, we even created extra space in the utility room which I thought would be impossible! Eileen is great to work with, she's calm and methodical and offers guidance and advice without being pushy or intimidating, it was a pleasure to work with her and the results speak for themselves! Decluttering and organising really does bring a sense of calm to the house and I can't wait to do more ☺️

Wonderful positive and productive experience .Eileen helped me to sort out the final unsorted two rooms after a house move. They were full of boxesEileen wasted no time in helping me to empty each one and then sort the contents into material for recycling, rehoming and discarding. It was very important to me that we should recycle where we could. Eileen took all recycling away at the end of each of our two sessions. What had been a daunting and dismaying prospect became manageable.One of the items I identified for recycling was a tin of medals recovered from my late uncle's home. At our second session Eileen informed me that these appeared to be valuable, she had obtained an estimate of the value and then returned them to me.I cannot emphasise how much it mattered to me that the person I was working with was personable and easy to work with. Eileen was delightful. One tip she gave me, which made decision making easier was when I was presented with an item I did not really like but felt that since the person who had given it to me was very much loved, I should not part with it. Eileen advised me to part with the item but retain the love - which I did. Another thing which really impressed me (there are many) was when we opened a bag containing a mattress cover and I said I would put it on my bed . She said lets do that NOW and we went and stripped my bed immediately, put the mattress cover on and remade the bed. I do love to do things straight away.I would not hesitate to call upon her again and recommend Tidy Mind wholeheartedly.

Eileen was absolutely great. In our free consultation I’ve got many suggestions, ideas and encouragement of things to tackle in my bedroom. I took them on board and sorted most of the bedroom mess hehe so when she came we then tackled the kitchen. The organising session was very intense, but we just got so much done and sorted. She has a great view of where to place things and how to make the organisation in a way that it will work and hold on long term. It was fantastic and I wish I had asked for her help sooner. The kitchen looks amazing and I am so pleased with the final results. In the process I’ve also learned a lot and carried on with some organisation on my own. I definitely recommend Eileen to help you tidy you space and get some tips and advice from her.

After becoming completely overwhelmed with the mess and clutter in our home, I reached out to Eileen for help and I am so glad I did! I have ADHD and my husband and eldest daughter are Autistic so we have extra complexities when it comes to managing our home and I wasn’t sure I would be able to find someone who could help us in the way that we need but Eileen has blown us away with her compassionate and friendly approach. She has even gone as far as taking some extra courses to learn how to help Neurodiverse people with tidying and organisation in a way that works for us which has been incredible. We’ve learnt so much from Eileen, not only about decluttering and organising, but also how to keep on top of things in the future. I cannot recommend her enough!

I felt like a weight had been lifted after the first time Eileen worked with me to declutter and organised my utility room. Prior to that I felt overwhelmed every time I went in there - which is a lot! She has since worked with me on my kitchen, kids crafting cupboard, hallway, porch, spare room and one of my wardrobes. She’s taught me a few tricks of the trade and inspired me to keep going… I’ve already made a start on the dreaded loft! Looking forward to tackling the garage with her this summer.
