I worked in the bereavement industry for over 13 years and have personal experience of arranging funerals for my loved ones. I have never experienced the personal service that Nikki and Lisa gave to me and my family. We were guided in the most kind, caring and compassionate way. Their understanding of what I wanted for my Mum's funeral really was perfect. They offered us all the options and we chose the most beautiful red wicker coffin with a beautiful service at Old Park Meadow. Thank you to these lovely ladies and their team for the most memorable day, our family and friends are still commenting on how perfect it was. Having recently lost a young family member I had the unenviable task of having to arrange a funeral. From the moment I called Barrington's and spoke to Nikki, I knew that my niece would be well looked after and they would help to make the experience as easy as possible.As soon as I spoke to Nikki, I knew it was Barrington's I wanted to look after her.Nikki gave me her personal number and kept me updated every step of the way, and did whatever she could to get her collected before the bank holiday weekend.I was guided through all the options with such care and compassion. And Nikki also used her expertise to make some additional suggestions which were amazing final touches for the day that my niece would have loved and been proud of.Nikki also made visiting my niece so easy, the team made every family member feel so welcome and relaxed. I also received so many comments about how they felt she was being so well looked after by Barringtons.I simply cannot fault the service that they provided, and myself and my family will always be so grateful for everything they have done.

Sadly my brother passed away on the 9th September and we used Barringtons as Funeral Directors for his cremation. From start to finish their service was outstanding. The patience, time and immense empathy in dealing with such a sad and stressful time was outstanding. Lisa & Nikki were always there to deal with all the arrangements with sympathy, understanding and professionalism. They made a very sad time into a wonderful memory which helped us so much in such a time of grief.They looked after my brother with care and understanding and this made us feel that he was safe and at peace.His partner, the family and all his friends will always remember the special service that Barringtons provided that allows my brother to live in eternal peace.A massive thank you to Lisa, Nikki and all the staff at Barringtons you were exceptional.

Barringtons provided fantastic help, support and customer care for a funeral that was organised on a Saturday at very short notice.Nikki, Victoria and Lisa really made life easier and more bearable at a time when the family were still in shock at the loss of our loved one. Their generosity, kindness and moral support on the day were greatly appreciated.The funeral service itself and the venue were nothing short of absolutely perfect! A number of the attendees told me that they had never been to such a beautiful, personalised service before and will remember it forever. Victoria's time and effort in preparing for the service and her immaculate delivery as the Celebrant were especially impressive.When we engaged Barringtons they said that their goal was to provide a service that the family would be proud of. I think that they achieved that and then some!We would like to thank Barringtons so much for everything they have done for us.

My mum passed away the day before my baby’s due date and I will never forget how lovely Nikki was on the phone when I called to enquire about their services. It’s not often you find two women in this business - and what a difference it makes.Lisa and Nikki offer the most personable and all encompassing support which feels more like interacting with old friends who are there to take the weight off at a very difficult time. My mum’s service was beautiful and Nikki and Lisa helped us to pick things that represented her life and spirit, while navigating an unknown experience.I feel so lucky that Barringtons were recommended to me, they completely changed how the experience felt and supported me through it in an incredible way. I cannot recommend them highly enough or say enough good things about them.

When my sister passed away Nikki worked with my family during the sad time and made us all feel so comfortable and was always so welcoming. The funeral home itself wasn’t so morbid it was open with a lovely little chapel where we could go and see my sister with music in the background (what we were able to choose my sister’s favourite music) to play. I felt confident knowing that they both were looking after my sister amazingly. Nikki and Lisa made my sisters funeral special and it was perfect! They took some lovely photos of the funeral and it will be a funeral that will never be forgotten about.They arranged a lovely singer named madeleine to sing during my sisters burial and it was so heart warming I couldn’t ask for anything better thank you guys for being supportive and amazing!

I can’t quite put into words how grateful I am to Lisa and all the staff at Barringtons.Never did I ever imagine to have been in the situation to have needed this service but Lisa was just absolutely incredible. She was caring and attentive with all our needs in such a devastating time. I reflect now on all the support which was offered through their service and I honestly don’t know how we as a family would of got through it with out Barringtons care. They really do go above and beyond. Thank you x

Barringtons have made the worst time of our lives so much more manageable, because of their excellent service. Lisa, Nikki and the team went over and beyond to care for both us and our loved one. They were so incredibly organized, caring and extremely sensitive to our needs and grief. I would recommend nobody else, and wish I could give them an extra star. Barringtons felt like family to us, and we cant say thank you enough!
