I had Countrywide perform a level 2 Survey on a flat I am purchasing. I specifically chose Countryside for this as they offer valuations alongside the survey.I was asked what amount I was purchasing the flat for when I requested the survey, which I thought was a bit strange, so I listed an incorrect figure much higher than the actual purchase price.When the survey report came back, it was very clearly just a big template with a bunch of non-property specific text, with some extremely basic observations on the property in a couple of sections. These sections referred multiple times to a valuation, but there was no valuation given.I complained, asking for at least a valuation, and eventually I was sent an amended report" that now has a valuation section - the valuation was EXACTLY the same number as the incorrect figure I had put in their website

CCS have been absolutely amazing through the whole conveyancing process when selling my house! I would highly recommend them. They are the best conveyancing company/solicitors I have ever used. They have been quick to respond to my many questions, very efficient and helpful. Nothing has been too much trouble. Our buyer is currently using theses for the purchase of our property! They are absolutely awful. We have missed one moving date as they were not ready. Now they won’t set a new one. They are continuing to ask question that they have already asked 4/5 times. They say they haven’t received documentation when everyone was sent it all by is the same email and all other parties have received it. Do not use and do not accept an offer from a buyer that is using them. You will never move. Totally in trustworthy and lie lie lie. Would t recommend them. We can only hope they close down for the good of the conveyancing world
