If you want to learn kick boxing in a safe way but with vey high standards then this is the place.The curriculum is very thorough and the instructors are extremely knowledgeable, while ‘reading’ each student’s needs. You become really fit, learn necessary self defence skills while at the same time you clear your mind.What makes this particular dojo unique though is how they adapt to teach any age from 4 year olds to adults and the sense of community they create among Senseis and students. And this is one of the things that make them great.

It's an amazing place. Started as a complete beginner only 3 months ago and am now totally hooked!The Sensei's have just the right balance of being friendly and supportive, but still pushing you to your individual limit. There's no egos and they're always watching, noticing and changing the exercise to keep you at your best.If you're thinking about coming, don't put it off. You won't regret it.

My son has extra needs and attends classes here, and I don't have a single complaint. The staff are friendly, attentive, and patient.I have no issue with recommending Xen-Do to absolutely anyone interested in learning, kickboxing themselves, or getting their children into it. 10/10

I have now left the dojo for reasons that are beyond me (move away from London) and I wanted to leave a review for anyone who would be considering.What I liked most - the people, both sensei and members are fantastic. They are very welcoming, friendly, professional, they keep a really close eye on you and they give you back the energy that you bring - if you go in there super motivated, positive, they will give you that energy back at least tenfold. I have never left a class at Xendo (and god knows I have done them all - group classes, sparring, personal, private) without wanting for more and eagerly wishing for the next class already (even on the days my energy level was really rubbish).Things to think about before joining - it is pricier than a lot of other options but we really need to factor in that (i) their locations are super central and (ii) the ratio of instructor per student per class is higher than more traditional dojos (even if you do group classes that are packed in non-COVID times). I think especially for beginners this is the right place, provided you can afford it.My experience on the administrative side (I have seen a few complaints so wanted to share how I experienced it) - they were always super transparent and accommodating (e.g. once Debit Finance mistook a payment while my membership was frozen, I asked for a refund and got it really shortly after asking for it back). Once again, they give you the transparency that you give them. The way contracts, direct debits etc. work is pretty boilerplate really. If you don't want any surprise then make sure you read the fine prints. No one is coaxing you into signing anything in a rush so just take your time with reading the information given and asking the right questions.

Been at Xen-do (Baker street and Mayfair) for 4 years+ now and absolutely love it. All the sensei's are technicallly excellent, professional and super-friendly. Whether a beginner or more advanced I couldn't recommend the club highly enough!

Well let’s start with taking the plunge with a free trial… it was totally awesome!!Suddenly what became curiosity because a totally awesome experience!All the Sensei(s) are simply excellent. I’ve seen, passion, professionalism, experience, dedication, friendliness, serious high standards bubbling in their own unique way from such an amazing dedicated together team. It’s really an honour to learn here.This Dojo has gone over and beyond my expectations. It’s one of the best decisions I think I’ve ever made.

I have been training for over a year now. Really enjoy the classes and it helped me recover my back muscles strength and regain overall body shape. Also always a great and fun team to train with. I LOVE KICKBOXING!

Very good kickboxing training sessions. Sparring is my favourite and I really reccomenend going!
