Can’t rave about these guys enough! Such a fantastic range of good quality hardwood. A very friendly family run business of great helpful people. Most timber generally just don’t give you a minute out of their day but Connor went over and above to help my needs. I didn’t need much but he sorted me out with exactly what I needed and even gave a helping hand loading my van! There’s only one place il be going now to get my hardwood. Great service, really sound people and timber is brilliant!

Extremely pleased with the service I received and the quality of the oak I ordered. It was my first time making a relatively large order and Conor and Faye were super helpful quoting and answering questions. Order was dispatched quickly and a small issue with a wrong size was quickly rectified and a replacement sent out immediately. Good service, product and price, can't ask for more and will be ordering again soon.

After using many timber supplies from around the country over the past few years, I can say this is the best one. They are very reasonably priced and the quality of wood is excellent and any issue I've had they have resolved it quickly and without question. If you are looking for a timber supplier I couldn't recommend them enough.

Only needed a couple of metres of oak for some kitchen shelving, however Connor couldn't have been more helpful and was able to sort us out with some beautiful timber that he cut to size for us. Plus the price was great for the quality of our timber. Don't worry if you're just a diy woodworker this place is great. Would unreservedly recommend and use again when I need to.

For many years I’ve had the privilege of working as a high end cabinetmaker and restorer. I’ve visited many timber merchants across the UK; some good, some not so good! Finding PB Hardwoods for our Chester based workshop has been a joy. I’ve always been able to find what I’m looking for, whether that’s simply good quality oak of a particular cut or some more special. It’s always a pleasure visiting the yard to see the family who own and run the company or have a good mooch around. I always make sure I have a few hours for my visit! Absolutely brilliant customer service!I have been trying to track down some Oak slabs to make a Memorial bench.My ex Son in Law sadly committed suicide and his Daughters 12 and 15 are completely devastated.They use to go with their Dad to a local Country park and we suggested putting a bench there so they could feel close to their Dad. The girls were over the moon with the idea.I tried numerous Timber merchants but unfortunately they were not helpful.Luckily I contacted P B Hardwoods, I could not believe how helpful, kind and considerate Conor was!Nothing was too much trouble. There were delivery issue for Conor but he didn’t make a problem of anything.I cannot recommend this Company highly enough!Outstanding service in this day and age!My Granddaughters and all my family are so grateful to this wonderful Company!
