Richmond Villages Northampton

A fabulous place! Immaculately clean, fantastic facilities and beautiful gardens. All of the staff have been so helpful when we were recently looking for an apartment for my Aunt. Special mention to Sharon Hobday, who has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and has made the process very easy and straightforward.

WowSuch a beautiful place. I felt at home very quickly as I came from a village family and had always missed that atmosphere that you can only get when people know and respect one another. I was in recovery from a serious illness and was a little unsure about being away from my family for a week. having just lost my wife. I need not have worried. I had a lovely room, a hairdresser, and a chiropodist. as well as a restaurant that anyone would be proud of, and a room full of books to dip into.My greatest surprise was to walk down corridors and be greeted by staff in the first day or so. who I had never met, with a cheery Hello Tony"

My parents moved to Assisted Living at Richmond Village 8 years ago. Richmond Northampton is a beautiful site with spacious gardens and a marvellous restaurant. There are lots of activities for residents. The Domiciliary Care team are outstanding and well managed.After my mother had a fall we were able to transfer her to the Care Floor. The nursing team are very professional. I am confident that she is in a safe place under the watchful eye of the health staff. Generally speaking, everyone with high needs is looked after exceptionally well.

Beautiful and calming surroundings and amazing facilities. This was a daunting visit for my Mum who is apprehensive about taking the next step to assisted living, Sharon made her feel very welcome and relaxed whilst showing her round the facilities and several apartments too. We also had lunch in the restaurant which gave Mum a real feel for the Village and the residents. The restaurant had a lovely buzz and the food was excellent.Big thanks to Sharon for giving us a very positive experience.

Review from my Grandad- The village concept made the environment extremely welcoming. The gardens are beautiful and a pleasure to relax in. The reception staff are very welcoming and caring. The room I had was luxurious and well appointed. The domestic and catering staff became immediate friends and cheerfully cared for me. The meals served in the lovely dining room enabled me to mix with other residents. There is a programme of community activities; I briefly joined i.e the gentlemens club, which I found welcoming and friendly. I felt very at home.

From the first moment of entering we were welcomed and given an extensive tour of the facilities and available houses as well as the grounds. The look has been thoughtfully laid out for residents with all abilities such wide doors and corridors, it is beautifully decorated with constant maintenance and updating. The gardens act as a place for calm or as an area for village gatherings. Sharon who showed us around was transparent with help available as people get older such as housekeepers or more extensive care needs. Sharon was friendly and had such a positive attitude we could tell she loved her job and wanted to show everything the village offered. We particularly loved the library and the activities such as bus to shops or days out. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this place for people looking into retirement properties especially as you can take pets.

This retirement village has a wonderful, homely feel in beautiful surroundings - 5 Star!! Also the staff are caring and professional. My mum was really well looked after where she felt safe and secure..... with lots of entertainment for the residents too. Would very highly recommend

My mother is moving into one of the 2 bedroom independent apartments next month and the whole sales process has been painless in the main down the patience and understanding shown by Sharon Hobday. She has done everything she can to make my mum feel welcome and I know will be there (along with other staff) to support her when she actually moves into the village next month.

Richmond Villages have been wonderful in welcoming my Aunt to her new Assisted Living apartment. She has recently moved from her village 140 miles away, a familiar home she had lived in for 60 years.It has obviously been an emotional decision for her, but the staff at RV have gone out of their way to make her comfortable and happy. She is now in a place of safety, is eating much better (she says the food is absolutely wonderful) and has plenty of things to keep her occupied. The domicilary care staff are universally friendly, caring and patient, which is a great reassurance. The care notes I can access through the Relatives Gateway is a revelation and sets out in meticulous detail the care she receives.It will take time for her to establish new routines but I am confident she is in a better place, surrounded by all the support she could ever wish for.
