Happy Soles

This is a small gem of a shoe shop. My son wears two very different size shoes, so can be tricky to fit and match both feet. Happy soles takes the time to get things right, which for us, is invaluable. We highly recommend it!!

Well, what can I say but wow!The lady Bethan and I were served by was Chris; and well she was thorough in measuring of feet, explanation of what sort of shoe would fit Bethan's wide feet, how to wear in the shoes properly at home & how to look after the shoes.Several pairs of shoes were looked at, and each time Chris explained to Bethan how they would fit, or not fit, plus how they would perform day after day for the type of activities Bethan does in them.A great shop, with an amazing shop assistants, great quality products at reasonable prices. To think I only went here because Charles Clinkards shutdown that I wasn't aware of!I will definitely be using this shop when Esther needs some school shoes- which having just looked at them won't be long!!!Yaaaaassssssssss!!!!!!!!!

Lovely place to get shoes. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Love that you can use your Lincoln Mum's card here and they have a loyalty scheme as every little bit helps!!

Took our 1yr old daughter in today for a pair of shoes, the woman working asked if we could wait whilst she served another customer. Not a problem we were happy to wait, however as we were looking at shoes, we have our daughter one to hold that we were wanting to purchase.At this point, the shop worker abruptly said, “if you don’t mind” and snatched the shoe from our 1yr olds hand.The customer service is appalling, ending up walking out as we don’t appreciate being spoken to like something off the bottom of someone’s shoe.No customer service skills, slow service and certainly wont be going back!!

This is genuinely the best shop in Lincoln to buy shoes for little ones! Chris and Sally are so knowledgeable and their warm, friendly, no pressure approach makes shopping there a lovely experience. The appointment booking system is really easy to use and sometimes you can also get appointments on the day, especially in the afternoon. I would 100% recommend them!

From start to finish: excellent customer service. Went above and beyond to assist us in what feels like a quest to find good fitting shoes.Took time to ensure my son was comfortable in the shoes and tried different designs and ensured he was able to tie laces.My son was made to feel so comfortable that he has requested to come back next year! Biggest compliment from him.The lovely lady was Chris that fitted my son, the other lady was very polite and chatty.I also believe it was the lovely owner who had kept in contact by message and was so accommodating and re-arranged an appointment.Truly went above and beyond.Thank you xx

Went today to try and get my little ones feet measured and walked in and was greeted by ‘have you booked?’ in such a rude and disrespectful manner. When I replied with no, the lady asked me to wait 5 minutes to see when the next appointment as. Some more people came and got the same response we did! I generally thought going up to you in the bail would be a beautiful experience but instead it was rude and that isn’t the way I would of spoken to a customer! I will not be coming back.

We’ve been shopping here for years and have always had fabulous service from the wonderful and caring Chris (she just always seems to be there!) who is amazing and takes so much time to ensure my girls get their perfect shoes by going above and beyond, and she is so knowledgeable about the different shoe fittings to suit my daughters feet. Michele also goes above and beyond to help and really cares and wants to ensure we’re happy with our purchase, and won’t stop until we are. Sally is lovely too but we’ve not had the pleasure of being served by her yet.No hesitation to recommend this independent store as we’ve never felt rushed, have always had wonderful customer service and I’m always happy the girls shoes feel comfortable and well fitted. Fabulous shoe shop that my children love visiting. The service is always brilliant and we have received amazing covid doorstep service too. Highly recommended.

Great place to buy kids shoes. Super friendly staff, really understanding towards Autism. Really helpful. Required to book a time slot to go in but well worth it. Loyalty card option available too.
