Etive House Care Home

What a difference this place has made to my elderly aunt. Very caring environment.

I spent three weeks in respite care at Etive House. The care home is lovely and the staff are wonderful. Unfortunately after two weeks I was diagnosed positive with Covid. I think the staff unmasked too soon after a case of Covid and allowed numerous visitors in without masks. That is my only criticism.

I would like to thank the wonderful staff at Etvie for the most amazing care my late Mother received towards the end of her very long life. I live South of the Border, and am without personal transport. My sister sent me pictures of her lovely, and most homely room. It was most reassuring to know that she was warm, comfortable and that she was able to maintain her dignity and privacy. Most important to her. I was informed by my sister of the loving care that she received, not to mention the most excellent cuisine. I will remain eternally grateful to Etvie, and those amazing staff, for taking such wonderful care of her right up until the end. Kind regards, Duncan Peake.

I visit my friend’s mum at Etive House and find their care really heartwarming.My father has Alzheimer’s, and has had respite at Etive House too, which was just fantastic. Dad also had respite closer to his own home and community, and it was more than double the price and half the level of love and care of the staff at Etive House, The care is fun, gentle and recognises the individual behind the diagnosis, whilst also being extremely professional and protective of their residents. Highly recommend.

I have worked at Etive House for over 14 years.In that time I have seen incredible changes. I work with an amazing team who go above and beyond for our residents to make it the special, warm home that it is.

Family member in respite care at Etive House for 3 weeks, excellent service, food and company, communication with family excellent. Would recommend without hesitation.

Refused to tell me how my 95 year old mother is I live 500 milea away. Data Protection.Despite the fact they know I telephone to speak to mum most days.Callous.and poor. Beware l.

On behalf of myself and my brothers, Duncan and Andrew Peake, we wish to wholeheartedly thank Etive Care Home for the loving and professional care our mother recieved during her time living as part of the Etive family.Our mother was felt safe, warm and loved , and she always kept her dignity and privacy, two things that were very important to her.Caregivers were warm and tactile and the medical team of nurses were just wonderful.The food was beautifully presented and always delicious.Our visiting family were always made most welcome and even at the end, our mother had the comfort of having a small dog cuddling up to her.So thank you Etive, from the bottom of our hearts
