Very good for the price, especially for beginners but theres still some challenging holes. Some of the bunkers are abit sketchy but the greens and fairways are very well kept. A couple of bad experiences with fellow players: slow play, one guy walked onto the wrong fairway and just picked up my ball? Not much the staff can do about this though

The main feedback I had was about the number of people and the gap between tee times. It was very obvious that there was no appropriate gap in tee times, I think it was 2 mins.. which led to a lot of waiting and made the game slow. It was also obvious that maximising no of booking (and the money) clearly out weighed any consideration for the golfers. This is also clear from the tight layout of the course, but maybe that could just be understood because of the space constraints.The course is short and very compact so ideally should have been able to finish in 3 hours, but because of the number of people and the short gap between tee times this took close to 4.30 hrs and it was dark by the time I got to the 18th.Secondly, there is no map provided for the course nor are there are any pictures at the tees to indicate if it is straight or otherwise, so you were left relying on the group in front of you to figure out the direction, which was very annoying. Again this felt like the actual golfers were a distinct second consideration at the course.I have not tried the driving range yet and might give it a go and hopefully that is a better experience.

We held our Wedding at The Old Barn at Sunbury Golf Club on 22nd September. The team at Sunbury Golf organised the catering and the DJ for us and were absolutely brilliant. The team were really supportive in the run up to the wedding and took my lead so that the day was exactly as I had hoped. The day ran smoothly with staff checking in throughout the day to check everything was how I had hoped. All our guests commented on how great the venue was, how beautiful the space looked and how wonderfully the day ran - the team adapted to the questionable weather so that the showers didn't feel a problem and we made the most of the sun when it came out - thank you so much for everything!

This was the perfect wedding venue for us, the barn itself is beautiful and exactly what we wanted for an autumn themed day. The team are amazing, they made sure that everything ran smoothly.Would highly recommend!!

Played 30/8/23 around 12pm, front 9 greens were being prepped for Autumn/ winter so had temporary green on place. Was not told this at time of booking. Also bar staff rude, whilst being served two drinks, paid by card and no receipt offered then asked if I had paid for drinks!

Really enjoyed the round until the heavens opened sadly! And they obviously have a sense of humour .. loved the heels. Would be interesting to play in them lol.

A short course, but nevertheless, an enjoyable one. Grounds don’t drain water away, but greenskeepers doing a decent job. It’s easy to play, no real challenges.

The 18 hole course is quite a short and easy course and probably suited the average, casual player. There are a couple of more challenging holes which are narrow and flanked by hazards but in general, you will be forgiven for an errant tee shot and should get around this course without too much trouble.The greens are fantastic and fast even after a few weeks of heavy rain which was a nice surprise as you sometimes don't know what to expect when paying less than £20 for a round - the range is also handy albeit slightly short and not suitable to hit any woods or driver if you're a longer hitter of the ball.Overall, I had a nice time playing Sunbury but I would consider other, longer and more challenging courses in the area if you're a seasoned golfer as the 6 x par 3 holes do give a slight pitch and putt" feel."
