Fantastic staff and excellent facilities. No complaints only praise for this superb care home.

My mum was a resident at Hatton Court Care home for 11 moths before she sadly passed away in their care. During her stay she was happy and content and extremely well looked after. Her needs were always met and there was a true family and friendly atmosphere which extended to include her family and Marley the dog who was a frequent visitor.There was a fantastic array of activities which were thoughtful and stimulating, equally there were places for quiet retreat. It was the resident who had the choice and it was the resident who was the priority.Individuality, dignity and respect were always a priority and very much evident. The staff at all levels and from all areas were friendly and it had such a lovely community and family feel. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.My mum had special dietary needs and they were catered for with a menu that was varied and enticing, when she was loosing her appetite the staff made every effort to get her to eat, drinks were always there in easy reach and she was prompted regularly to have a drink and helped when needed.As for the end of life care that she and her family received, it was exemplary. The care, compassion and consideration my mum and me received was second to none. People talk about showing dignity and respect but here it was in practice at the highest of levels. The staff were so attentive it made a difficult time so much easier to bear.There will always be things that some people would pick faults with, in my experience anything that I found lacking was trivial. Nothing was ever detrimental to the care or health and well being of mum and I know that if I had addressed any issue with the manager then it would have been actioned immediately.This home oozes a family feel and the facilities and environment are impressive. My mum never wanted to go into a care home and her stay after discharge from hospital was initially for assessment, once she was there she didn't want to leave. Knowing my mother that in itself is a testimonial to the care and to the home itself.

This home is simply outstanding - the facilities, the staff - I have nothing but praise for it - if the situation arises where residential is required for any family members - this is the place to come to - fully recommended.

The place stinks of urine, flys everywhere all over dining room especially when eating meals, extremely unhygienic.Also when addressing the fact it smells of urine workers tell the residents it’s you that smells like urine not the care home.Vile
