Beautiful Cottage very well supplied with everything you need.Had a beautiful weeks stay there couldn't fault it and would definately return.

We stayed in the delightful Mill Cottage from 2-9 October 2021, in the stunning surrounding location complete with lake and a lovely summer house. Such peace and quiet. The best cottage we have ever stayed in. There are lovely walks very close by along the Lancaster Canal, one reaching the excellent hotel, the Mill at Conder Green, to quench your thirst and have a (very good) bite to eat. Saw several herons and a little egret en route and chatted to the friendly owner of the old Lock Keeper's cottage. Another world! An added bonus is that Lakewood Cottages are within easy reach of Morecambe Bay and the southern Lake District. This was a very special holiday indeed and we will definitely be returning.

Great place to stay, high standard of accommodation and facilities, comfortable beds great surroundings with large lake and grounds. Easy access to canal walks. Alec the owner is most helpful and a great source of local knowledge for walks etc however there is a wealth of maps and guides available.

Great place for a self catering holiday. Comfortable and spacious accommodation, plenty of kitchen appliances, comfy bed and nice view of the lake. Lots of space for parking. Very convenient for Lancaster, Morecambe and the Trough of Bowland. Close to the canal for walking to Galgate etc, lots of maps available with many other local walks and cycle rides.

5 star self-catering. Everything you need. Great location surrounded by fields. Loads of places to visit in the local area. Blackpool and the Lakes if you want to travel further on your day out. Love, love, love this place. We never want to leave.

Fantastic place.The owners are extremely helpful and the place is stunning overall.There's everything that you could need at the warm, comfortable cottage itself and the grounds are lovingly maintained and beautiful.A real gem.

The setting, the buildings and the ambience are exceptional. The cottages are former barns that have been lovingly and carefully transformed into quite wonderful cottages. They have been done to a very high level and all the furniture, equipment and contents are of the highest level. There is no skimping here. Perhaps the best place we have ever stayed. It is extremely quiet (even though close to the M6) and the lakeside setting is beautiful. The owners cannot be more helpful and ensure that you have the perfect stay.We could not have asked for more - book here and you will be guaranteed to want to return. We are already working on our next visit

Beautiful location.Stayed in the granary cottage. It was absolutely perfect. It contained everything you need for a self catering holiday. The owners thought of everything. The cottage itself was stunning and clean to a high spec.The grounds had a lake and plenty of wildlife. Would recommend it to anyone.
