Doncaster Dental Centre

Have been with this dentist since about 1968 it was pinders then …I have always been satisfied …mr White was the best dentist i ever had in my life I was so lucky to have his care and more recently this practice has supported me through the covid period and given me appointments then the reception staff have always been very helpful and do their best for you ….the dentists don’t seem to stay long now it may be the same anywhere…they are not being looked after by the government and getting extra appointments is not easy unless you are emergency because they are so busy it’s worrying…if you aren’t sure if you’re ok to wait or will you end up losing teeth but nobody wants to be a nuisance …the nhs dentists are under too much pressure ….im happy to give my best review they do deserve it .

I hadn't thought about it till leaving the office today - but I was trying to recall the last time I had a truly seamless experience, or felt completely calm & cared for in any professional or services environment in the last 3 years - and I hadn't expected or even felt hoped for again after the few years the individuals working in the industry have undertaken - another long Covid symptom I guess! Or more likely just me being awkward & obsessive In nature! & then mulling deeper I can’t recall pre-pandemic ever being at ease like that in any medical appointment, ever.Dr.Andre and Sarah, from your welcome to the your farewell , your hospitality was outstanding. The bedside manner, the way you both were so warm and caring with my little boy despite his reluctance - but more so the bigger baby in the room, me! All I can say is that for someone who holds back her smile, I left smiling - my husband is wanting to trasnfer, Oscar wants to come back tomorrow & I won't have to be fireman-lifted back kicking and screaming for my next check-in - although… if the fireman element was an upgradable extra, I could be tempted ha!Thank you again, just incredibleLucie, Joe & Oscar

I’ve been a patient at this dentist for over 36 years and always seen Mr Sics, who was great. Unfortunately have had to change dentists due to his hours being reduced and service/ attitude of other dentists since has been absolutely awful. After having more than 6 appointments cancelled in the last 4 years by the practice and then seeing 2 dentists in the last 2 months I’m very disappointed by their attitude and telling me my teeth are not in a good state. Then the incredibly loose application of the NHS dental al banding payment system is shocking, expecting patients to pay private prices for what should be available on the NHS treatment plans- disgusting behaviour without the private practice friendliness and so patronising as well. I work in the NHS and have worked in dental contacting so very disappointed with these recent conversations and experiences - absolute waste of everyone’s time, especially when I’ve travelled over an hour for treatment that didn’t happen.

Been here a few times this last year, seen one dentist and then got appointment cancelled and re booked with a Mr Andre Griesel who I had not seen before. Really good experience and pleased to say I am booked back in with him again for next appointment.

Absolutely disgusting uncalled for attitude from receptionist! Always slightly rude but today has seen i will never return. It really has gone down hill in the last few years.

Have been with this dentist since I was a baby except for time away in Sheffield. I was as was my father Mrs Cremers patients. She always did her best to make me feel at ease despite being petrified. Since her death I have been. Couple of times. Saw a locum for a checkup and last week rang for an emergency appointment after a broke a tooth, they saw me 2 days later. The dentist Chris who i hadn't seen before but was lovely, as was his nurse. Took his time, repaired the tooth and sorted 2 others. He put me at ease before I walked in the room.Covid caused so many issues for Dentists and with a lack of NHS Dentists and with Mrs Cremers passing, Doncaster Dental Centre I feel has been excellent

Highly recommend, special shout-out needed to Rachel who was great with my little one and made the whole process so much easier

I have been with Doncaster Dental Centre for 28 years and really miss Mr Andrews, he was the best dentist I have ever had and he has looked after the oral health of my family and I since moving to Doncaster. The new dentists are ok but they do not seem to have the warm friendly approach like the old dentists, such a shame

Had an appointment at 9am. Arrived at 9:04 due to heavy traffic. By the time I was let into the building it was 9:05 and my appointment was cancelled because I was 5 minutes late. When I asked to rearrange the appointment I was told I have to do so by phone despite being there in person. I feel sorry for the receptionists who have to uphold these extremely strict policies.
