Oishii Sushi - London

I had a very similar experience as the other negative reviewer has shared about a year ago. I also ordered 2 sushi boxes from Too Good To Go, supposed to save food waste from today's inventory, so i didn't have high expectation on my food. Hoever the food has just presented way too bad - unfreshed ingredient, and rice being very hard to chew on. Even on TGTG, the food needs to meet the minimum requirement. It's really hard to believe that the food we received is still within best before date. I have requested refund from TGTO.Also worth noting - the restaurant is using a different name on TGTO, although the food was collected from the same restaurant. Not sure how they related , but this looks a bit dodge. I could have avoided this if I knew the true name of restaurant and read that review. But it's too late. Hope others could avoid such terrible food rescue expereince from this restaurant.TL; DR - avoid this restaurant at all cost.

Ordered on Uber eats, food arrived freezing cold. Edamame smelt funny and prawn tempura was over cooked and tasted of oil. Presentation also slacking

Very friendly service and it was lovely to have a brief chat with who I believe is the owner of the restaurant. Though the downside is that with the few times I’ve been here previously, it seems like they only have one person operating everything each time. They prepare the orders well, but it will take some time. Thus, that’s a precaution before coming here.I ordered the chicken katsu curry with noodles. The chicken was good and crispy and the noodles were soft. Overall, I’m satisfied.A great and affordable lunch spot.

Nice guy working here. He did get a lot of our order wrong, however, and charged us for food we ordered but weren't in our bag (we should have checked before leaving!). The food was OK, from my order i only recieved the vegan prawn katsu curry and I enjoyed it, but there were some flavours that didn't make much sense but it wasn't bad. I wish he didn't mess up our order as that's the only reason I won't come back

Sushi here is very good! Plenty of choice available. Decorations really put you in the zone for this type of food. I ordered here with 2good2go, and got great value out of £5!

Great little sushi place. Very fast, very tasty. Just perfect ratio of the rice vs fish, quite filling which is fantastic, juicy(!) and fresh.Price is also good, convenient location.

recently visited oishii sushi, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and I immediately felt at ease.The menu was extensive, with a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes to choose from., and I was blown away by the quality and presentation of the food. Each piece of sushi was expertly crafted and tasted absolutely delicious. The fish was fresh and flavorful, and the rice was perfectly cooked.In addition to the food, the service was outstanding. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, offering recommendations and ensuring that our glasses were always filled with cold water. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience.Overall, I would highly recommend oishii sushi to anyone looking for a top-notch sushi experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items!

We arrived near-by for 4 nights, and each and every night we went out on 1 or 2 am and went here to buy some sushi.The people in the place were very very nice, and welcomed us with open arms each and every time.We orderd many kinds of dishesFrom poke bowl to the salmon one to the 90 pcs one.All were very tasty and fresh, came out fast and were made in front of our eyes.Tge prices were london prices but still it was worth it, and we even found some dishes who are cheaper than the rest of London.We also bought there instant ramen, some were nice and some less but they just sell those.Great expirience and great place, very recommended
