Lovely friendly staff and very helpful as well as welcoming

I bought my wedding dress tried it on in the shop left it for them to press never took it out of the bag till the morning of the wedding 30 minutes before having to leave when i put it on the bones were sticking out of one side which cut under my arm badly. It was too late to do anything. So the whole day under my arm was cut badly at the reception they tried to cover it with plasters but the bone kept coming through so had to change out of the dress which was really up setting. On the Monday I returned the dress to the shop and after explaining to them was told that no way did the dress leave the shop like that. After my day being ruined by the dress cutting in to me they wern't very nice and I was told to leave it and they would get it sorted. Would not rate this at all and would like to warn others that are going here to buy a dress please be carefull The dress was lovely. There was 8 people here to verify what had happened to the dress.

Bought x7 dresses from this store costing over £1500 has ended up costing another £500 on top for alterations when measuring the girls they measured incorrectly when dresses came they have marks on three of them no discounts or refunds offered appauling service would not recommend unless you have the money to fork out ruined the wedding experience

I cannot recommend Susan's Bridal in Sunderland enough. I didn't know where to start when looking for my wedding dress. From the moment I stepped through the door the wonderful staff put me at ease. I didn't know what style I was looking for, but they helped me try on different styles and i found my perfect wedding dress with their help and support. I was made to feel so special! It was a wonderful experience for me, my mam and my children. Something I will never forget, I thought it would be a stressful, anxious experience but it was made enjoyable by the professional and friendly staff. If you are not sure where to start - make this your starting point - you won't be disappointed. I even managed to get my veil and hair accessories matched to the dress I had picked. It was so emotional for us all, thank you and keep up the good work!

I can't recommend Susan's Bridal enough! Their shop is gorgeous, the moment you walk through the doors you're greeted by warm and amusingly friendly staff as well as stunning dresses. The staff and service is second to none, we were clueless and went looking for bridesmaids dresses for six women (all different shapes and heights which can be a nightmare!), the advice and recommendations from the women in the sip were unbelievably, down to what styles would flatter a wide variety of body shapes and what we should stay clear of, they make you feel comfortable and confident whilst trying on dresses and making your choice. As well as alteration advice and what underwear we should be wearing, everything you could possibly need or think of!!! We have travelled all over the North East in search of the perfect dress and instead we have ended up falling in love with the perfect shop, perfect service and perfect staff who are actually ordering our dresses especially for us as they don't stock it! They have gone above and beyond and it has been an absolute pleasure shopping with them! We can't wait for our dresses and fittings! I genuinely can't thank them enough!!!!
