We went in there to look at the wide selection of lighting which was affordable and varied. Also we were unware of the extent of their gift selection and really loved the local artisan range with a number of gift box collections. Purchased a few Ebb and Flow lights that are gorgeous. Would highly recommend for choice and service.

Bought some gorgeous glass pendant and wall lights from Design Essentials. Fantastic knowledgeable service as I borrowed glass swatches so I could match to my home décor and the lights were ordered in straight away for me to pick up and advice given on the best light bulbs to create the look I was wanting.I've also bought personalised pictures here as gifts. A great place to brown and find unique gifts and home ware.

Wendy was so helpful while I was trying to decide what I actually wanted. Although she was out of stock initially, she rang as soon as the product was in so I didn't miss out. My little boy loves his present and I'll certainly be back to buy some more! Great service, lovely lady, thanks very much.

Great service! I absolutely love this shop its completely up my street. If there isn't something there that you are looking for Wendy is happy to try and source it for you and also happy to recommend and suggest alternatives too. I went in to look for some pendant lights for my new kitchen having exhausted the internet for choice and found exactly what I needed, complete with the old fashion style light bulbs. I also didn't realise that they also provide a design service, too late for me this time, perhaps next!

Over the last 2 years I had the pleasure of using design Essentials design services for a fairly large home renovation, I found it a great success and very enjoyable. My designer Gaye was brilliant a joy to work with and would take into consideration all my wants and ideas and have plenty of input for new ideas for me to consider. I would often visit the shop for inspiration and Wendy was a great help with ordering products etc and with contacts such as a lighting design company. I would highly recommend them.
