We cannot recommend Sharon at Second Nature K9 highly enough. She is the most easy-going, easy to work with person who helps build confidence in owners without passing judgement or making you feel bad for your attempts.Her one-on-one sessions really helped us build the confidence to start training our strong headed female Malamute. Sharon gave us the right tools and taught us the right mindset so that we were able to see results within hours, rather than the months we had spent previously trying to go it alone. We have gone from having an anxious, reactive dog to one who is calm and focused. Our dog can now focus on us when another dog comes running over, rather than frantically jumping around in fear.Sharon helped cement our one-on-one training in neutrality classes. She is able to bring together owners and dogs who are going through the same struggles and are like-minded, to create a calm and judgement free atmosphere that made it so easy for everyone to learn and have fun.And we cannot write a review without mentioning her great work at our local doggy daycare. We took our Malamute puppy to her puppy classes and put him into daycare weekly. The work Sharon did helped us bring up the most confident, calm and easy going dog ever, which was so nice after the struggles we had with our first Malamute.If you want judgment free help with training your dog then you need to reach out to Sharon. We are absolutely gutted she has moved away from us, but even then she has set us up with other like-minded trainers so that our training can continue.

Highly recommend!!! After a few different trainers we’d lost hope & been told our expectations were too high, then we met Sharon & we are so glad we did! Her love for dogs shines through her work & we have made & continue to make so much progress!! The 121s, group sessions & constant support via WhatsApp have been amazing, we feel Sharon is so much more than a trainer!

Would highly recommend Sharon to anyone. Sharon worked with my dog Betty since she was young puppy and provided specialised training through 1:1 lead work and building Betty’s confidence around busy places and with other dogs. I have seen a huge difference in Betty’s confidence and her lead control has improved dramatically. I would watch Sharon’s videos after a session and was able to mimic the work every day during my walks. Sharon is reliable, trustworthy, encouraging and friendly - it is clear that she knows her stuff and enjoys her work. Well worth working with her.
