Paul Haylock Dog Training

Paul and Joe have been so helpful over the past 5 weeks with our German shepherd puppy Luna. They have taught us so much and really helped develop Luna during her training journey. We are very thankful that they have been so accommodating not only within the lessons but to provide us massive amounts of support outside, as they are available to answer any queries we had throughout the week before the next training sessions. We cannot recommend them enough and are very grateful for their wealth of knowledge.Thank you Paul and JoeFrom Amie, Reece and Luna.

ABSOLUTLEY AMAZED!!had our first session with paul i booked paul after searching through quite a few trainers/behavourists my dog is very scared of visitors coming in the home to the point she lunges barks tries to attack over and over its very extreme i cant imagine it being any worse. Me and paul had a chat before i got my dog into to the room he really has great knowledge of all different kinds of behavour in dogs and training im so glad i come across him. So by lead and muzzle me and my dog entered the room paul had let me know what to do and i could not believe how my dog was i am truly in shock! She was so calm i followed everything paul said and she was so chilled she even started to go asleep no barking no looks to kill no fixation on him no lunging no aggression or fear at all! I really am in shock and amazed how the whole session was even after paul left no barking no running nothing! Just a happy chilled pooch i am so so glad i picked paul i can not wait for our next session i was losing all hope before paul came along and now i am filled with hope i highly recommend paul i am so thankful to him i really was giving up on ever having anyone come to my home as i have had previous trainers to try and help even the effort i was putting in was not working. We have just completed Paul’s 5 week training classes with our Boxer puppy , Leo who’s now 18 weeks. Paul has been very patient and professional in his guidance in our journey with Leo . The classes , although structured and very informative are also fun and enjoyable. We will look forward to joining the follow on class.

We did a 5 week puppy class with Freddie and we really see the difference in he’s behaviour, Paul gave us things to work on each week and he came on leaps and bounds the real test came when we went to Cornwall for a week in June which wr had previously booked last year to take our other 2 fur babies, but unfortunately we lost both of them before we could go.We were so nervous taking fred because we were going to put fred in all the situations we were told not to, but he was absolutely amazing he was a pleasure to take out every restaurant,pub,shop we went into fred was a model of behaviour we had so many people comment on how well behaved he was for a pup but this was all down to Paul and he’s puppy classes it’s the best we’ll spent money we have ever done and Paul’s commitment to dogs just ozzies out thank you so much Paul we couldn’t have done it with out you couldn’t recommend highly enough x

I’ve never owned a dog and after much deliberation(4years) I caved in. I wanted a dog that would listen to me. I searched for Paul and I’m glad we found him. We are currently having 1-2-1 training in the home and our pup and the family have learnt loads already.Paul has a very honest and friendly approach. Never condescending. We’ve even had a bit of a laugh and it doesn’t seem like hard work. Makes me as an owner feel confident and in control. Roll on our next visit!

We are so pleased we chose Paul to help train our puppy. He really knows his stuff and gets great results. He’s very patient and passionate about well behaved dogs. His 5 week course has been invaluable and would highly recommend.

I sought 1-2-1 help from Paul as I rescued a dog who hadn't had a home before and had no training at all. He is a lump and was extremely strong on the lead and walks could be very unpleasant. Everything was new to him so if he wasn't hiding from big, scary busses, he wanted to chase bikes and jump up at joggers. He is an absolute love bug so it wasn't nasty, he just hadn't been taught manners and I felt totally out of my depth. Paul has given invaluable advice on teaching him to walk nicely on the lead and fantastic distraction techniques; which is very handy as Merlin loves dogs and wanted to drag me over to every dog he saw to say hello. We still have work to do but the difference between how he is now and four short sessions ago is remarkable. Walking him now is a pleasure the majority of the time and I really enjoy hanging out with my sweet, funny, slightly nutty young man. Thanks Paul, we'll be back!

I brought my energetic 6 month old maltipoo, called Presley to Paul's class.I only wish I had done this earlier as I had some mistakes to undo by myself.The five sessions were well planned, and we were given lead up and after briefings in between sessions by our class group WhatsApp".
