The Loading Bay Skatepark

I have been here a couple of times so feel my review would reflect my experiences only. The staff are friendly and the facilities is great, so many options and different obstacles to use. The food/drink at the cafe has always been up to a great standard and the weekly offers are great value. The hire equipment option is also great and I have used plenty of times; the Loyalty card is also an amazing adaption too. My only complaint is about how busy it gets, being slightly newer skaters it is very hard to get any practice in when other skaters are riding towards you. I’ve found it daunting all of the times I have been there as more experienced skaters are very visibly looking down on us. To all the skateparks I have been at this one has had the worst skate culture I have seen. I know they do lots of different student nights and sessions, but this is just my experience only. The skateparks great, foods great, equipments great, but the atmosphere is not. I will be back but only when I can do hard flips to fit in!

Great place to take the kids. Free to roam around within reason. Decent prices. Fab for a rainy day. Stuff to suit adults and small kids alike

This is a very street orientated park with tons of movable hubba's, rails and manual boxes. The bowl is very well made with an 8 foot side and a 5-6 ft side perfect for everyone. The foam pit is only a 3 ft take off so its not really great for older people but everyone is different so its up to you. Staff are awesome really friendly.

A great spot for BMX riders and skaters of all skill levels.And they sure know how to host a good jam!

Great park with lots of variation. Good skateboard to scooter ratio which you can't say about most skateparks!Great food and coffee. My wife was very pleased at how accommodating the toilets were for women's needs

The young people I work with love this and it's easy to see why. Great skating and bmx options as well as trampolines. Nice cafe with fab coffee and the staff are always friendly and helpful

I went here today with my 6 year old son & his friend, also 6. We all loved it! What a friendly, well laid & thought out place. Excellent customer service, really friendly staff & a fab wee (very reasonably priced!) cafe too. The kids had the best day ever & one of the 12 year old regulars even coached them & gave some great tips & encouragement- even showcased some of his truly excellent talents. Will definitely be back 10/10 x
