Enigma Live Escape Rooms - Retford

Today both me and my girlfriend lost our escape room virginity for her birthday, we decided on the legend of catequil room. Sadly we did not escape but what a thoroughly enjoyable experience it was! The rooms were well themed and imersive and the puzzles really had you thinking. The host was fantastic and welcoming, he explained everything really well beforehand and even recommended us restaurants to visit after we finished our game as we said that we were thinking of grabbing something to eat after. I honestly cannot recommended this venue enough! Both me and my partner are already talking about our next visit to try out the other rooms.

Fantastic escape rooms. Myself and three others have now done every current room in Retford, and every time the experience has been brilliant. The host is very nice, and likes to have a good laugh. The rooms themselves are amazing too. We have enjoyed every visit here and can’t wait for more rooms to come! I would highly recommend!

I have played all of the rooms now in Retford and all are absolutely amazing!!Just taken the family to play the newest of rooms..Siberia...and what fun we had.The staff here are fantastic, so knowledgeable about each room and so passionate about what they do. They take their time to chat and discuss the game whether you escape or not.Highly recommend a visit to Enigma Retford, you won't be disappointed.

What a fantastic experience for me and the girls, we had an amazing time escaping the room. I would highly recommend this experience as fun & challenging for us as 2 adults & 4 kids.A big thanks to the host!!

Had a great time playing Legend of Catequil. The sense of adventure throughout the game is excellent and would be well suited to teams of any age. We overcomplicated a lot of the puzzles but were always given helpful clues to keep us on track. The owner is very passionate about his games and really friendly. Games are reasonably priced too

Finished our 5th room recently. Sad we have to wait for the next room to be built. We were absolutely rubbish over all 5, but what a laugh! Priceless entertainment for the lads.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THESE ROOMS!!!If you haven't been to Enigma Retford, then you are truly missing out!!! We played all four rooms in a day and EVERY SINGLE ROOM was fantastic! Great theming, great stories, great hosting!! If you're up north, definitely worth a visit!!

This place is absolutely brilliant, just pure escapism and fun. The owner (I must get his name) is a top guy and so informative and engaging and I must apologise to him and his team for the screaming coming from our team (mainly me) this evening! We played the newest game to the Enigma family, Siberia, and we escaped but upon seeing the egg I kinda got a bit too excited! This is the third game I've played and the first time my son has played a room and he is absolutely hooked so SP eyes are next apparently! But back to Siberia. The room is jam packed with conundrums and the set up and attention to detail is astounding. So much goes into these rooms and they need to be seen to be appreciated. You can use a life if you're stuck and clues will be given but if he sees your stuck for a while, he may give you a prompt. Really loved playing Siberia and saving the Faberge Egg! Give this game a shot guys, you won't be disappointed!
