My family have lived in Godalming for generations, so visited here recently whilst researching my family tree. Having looked up plot numbers online, I was pleased to discover a map of the site by the entrance that shows the layout of the plots, made locating my ancestors so much easier. The cemetery itself was tidy and well maintained and despite being in the middle of a large housing estate, was surprisingly peaceful.

Lovely and peaceful place to bury my 6 day old granddaughter,, however my last visit was told that no dogs are now not allowed because bad owners are allowing their dogs to foul , so what the council decide to tar everybody with the same brush ( shame on you ) it’ was a lovely place to go to see the grave and walk the dog ( on a lead)around the outer ring and collect your thoughts !! If a group of kids cause damage at a play park would you blame all kids from the park ?? I don’t think so ??burocracy gone made !!R

Large peaceful with wilder unused areas around the perimeter - dog on leads welcome and you don't need to walk them near the graves so can be respectful

A place where ultimately every one destination....a place where we buried our love ones....nice clean..well managed...peace_ hormony ..where u can see the humans remaining...as according to their belief...Muslims..Christian ...and other ebramic religions...i bliv jews also.used this peaceful place..thanx to management.....

It's a lovely peaceful place to lay your loved ones to rest now welcoming Muslim family as use to just be Christian but so glad it's open to all worship groups

The most peaceful, clean and best cemetery of all. I am a funeral director and have visited many cemeteries and Eashing cemetery is without a doubt the best.
