The Garden Groom Room, Just For Cats!

What a pleasure it was to meet Jacqui today!This was my little Willows first groom at the Garden Groom Room, and being a rag doll, has thick fur that was getting matted and hard to manage. Our sassy cat hates being groomed and can be a handful.. I was genuinely waiting for a text from Jacqui to say she had no luck grooming her.How wrong was I!.. We collected a beautifully trimmed, happy and calm cat who looked wonderful, clean and soft again. Jacqui you are amazing, you provided such a professional service and also gave us some great advice on home grooming. I am so pleased we have found a local experienced groomer and will definitely be booking in again!

Jacqui clearly knows what she is doing and is time experienced if the quality clip our Cocker Spaniel comes back with is any testament. He is 'very precious' around his toes but that does not stop him coming back with tidy trimmed paws.When I first went; Jacqui gave ideas, showed images of my breeds cuts and ensured what she was going to do was what I wanted. Each time I go she checks/confirms before she starts. He's had a few knots at times on the ears (precious on home grooming) and so has had to go extreme on the ears but each time it comes with an apology and a point out by Jacqui.He's been to a couple of other groomers since we've had our dog and all roughly the same cost but none have been a shade close to Jacqui! All these other grooms have been patchy on the coat, whereas Jacquis clips have been even (he is a fluffy, curly coated Cocker!). One local mobile groomer (covid hit but they were 'open') we used once and they took forever! We then felt obliged to use again (covid lockdown) as they wouldn't go but then just didn't come back for the next appointment! When I chased they answered with, I'm not coming.. No reason why given! Hum... As soon as we could we booked back in to Jacqui.Jacqui confirms the next appointment and on the whole sends a text reminder. She is as flexible as she can be on times (busy and no surprise there!) and very understanding to last minute changes by me! She may be no more than a couple of pounds more than a mobile or store groomer but that extra is worth every penny on the reliability, quick turnaround of groom, quality, experience and mainly for the bouncy dog I take back home. Plus, for a day he smells lovely, until his next walk and drop and roll in anything!

So pleased with the service and the amazing results for our little cockerpoo! Jacqui was fantastic and made sure Stanley was at ease and I genuinely couldn’t recommend this treatment with her any higher! Not only are his teeth beautiful and white again but his breath is so fresh! Pricing is brilliant too - I wish I’d taken him sooner - if you’re wondering whether to do it or not - don’t hesitate - you’ll not regret it *****

Jacqui provides a first class grooming service. Super easy to book by phone or online. Our pup is a repeat visitor every 6-8 weeks and he loves being groomed. This is because Jacqui has been patient and showered him with lots of affection and never forced him with anything that he doesn't like. The result.... a dog that is happy to be groomed. Couldn't be happier with the service provided.

Jacqui is really kind and reliable, every time we have had an appointment my Siberian cat was very well taken care of: the regular matting after two to three months was sorted. At every collection, my cat smells really good and is looking for hugs. Also I appreciate that she takes one pet at a time, it avoids stress for them (and us).

Jacqui is fabulous, an absolute masterclass for everything your dog or cat needs. We have 2 dogs for grooming, and 1 of them has his teeth done. The tooth work is great, my boy has excellent teeth and gums now, and my get doesn't have to sedate have m to clean anymore. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Can highly recommend Jacqui, Pippin has always has problems with his teeth as he came to us as a 6 month old and nobody had ever cleaned his teeth so he wouldn't let us do it either. Jacqui used a sonic tooth cleaning system which is harmless and is very effective. We booked the course of treatment to start and now book routine appointments to keep on top of it. He has also been groomed and came back looking like a very smart boy. Pippin is a very nervous dog but Jacqui always makes a full of him and he enjoys his time with her. Well done and keep up the good work Jacqui !

I was recommended The Garden Groom Room by my vet in Spalding. Pippin is a Yorkie and I was concerned to give him the best chance of keeping his teeth. Jacqui offers Ultra Sonic teeth cleaning and I have been amazed at how effective it has been in removing tartar and reducing bad breath. I have also had Pippin groomed by Jacqui and she did a brilliant job of trimming his coat while keeping it in a full length style. I would not hesitate in suggesting others use her services. It is a pity she was not around several years ago so my last Yorkie could have enjoyed being groomed by her. She has a very relaxing way of working with dogs.

Jacqui is knowledgeable and professional in every of our dog Frank's experience. She explained everything to me and gave me confidence that I could leave Frank in her capable hands. She was thoroughly in her questions to make sure she understood the look I was hoping for. They have gone to great lengths to ensure all measures have been put into place to stay in line with covid rules.When I picked Frank up he was happy and relaxed. Jacqui had achieved a wonderful result for a dog that really needed a good make over. Everything I asked for had been done and I am delighted for Frank. Just took my mini schnauzer to Jacqui. This was her first experience with a groomer as she is only 16 weeks old. Jacqui gave her a bath, trimmed her face, feet and bottom and cut her claws. We will be returning next month for a full schnauzer cut. I am more than pleased with how Jacqui delt with my mini, she was so relax she went to sleep. Could not say better than that.
