Boots Opticians Birmingham Mere Green

The member of staff who did some of my tests before I saw the optician was really helpful and friendly and was careful and thorough with the testing. She explained all the tests very clearly. She was also very patient and helpful when I chose my new spectacles. My eye test with the optician was as expected.

Brilliant place… I will never go anywhere else. The staff are so friendly. Also, my son had a football injury (ball hit him in the face). The optician Sonia, saw him straight away and sent him straight to the eye hospital. When I saw the specialist there he was majorly impressed with her actions and the injury she had spotted and diagnosed. Thank you so much, you helped him so much and acted so promptly and professionally.

Staff, especially Mo, the Assistant Manager were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the products and helped me choose the right pair of glasses, really pleased, thank you.

c. £420 and a pair of glasses I am not happy with and that are not right. To put them right this store wants me to pay another £300+ so I politely declined and made a formal complaint to Boots Customer Care. I await their intervention in the matter.

I don't normally write reviews for local businesses, but I had to call out the most amazing selection of frames made for even the largest of heads! And the most attentive, helpful and friendly staff who must have helped me try on just about every frame in the store. This visit renewed my faith in the high street!

No waiting around to be seen, friendly staff, not rushed to make any decisions with the new glasses. Lots of help to choose the right pair for me with honest feedback on the different styles I tried.

Attentive, focused and knowledgeable staff with a nice gentle. friendly way. Really pleased with both pairs of glasses, and particularly the way they were presented to me as options. There was no pressure or rush to make a decision. At the next visit, I was late for my appointment to pick them up. It was a very busy day for them, and they still found a way to resolve the issue without fuss, whilst also ensuring I was happy with them, that they fitted and most importantly, that they improved my vision. I highly recommend them.

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced today!Went into store today as I usually use this opticians and was seeking some advice and looking to book another eye test. Walked in and when I did the gentleman named Shakir was alone at his desk with one other customer in store browsing spectacles, he took one look at me threw his arms up and gestured his hands at me to go away. Whilst I still continued to wait thinking I surly must have been mistaken in what I saw, he then looked up from his computer at me and said have you got an eye test booked today I replied and said no. He then said to me what were you after today, as I went to reply he then said, I am already doing two things at once and rolled his eyes.Absolutely appalled at how I had been treated and spoken to I sharply left, and went to spec savers a few doors up, who I would highly recommend instead. Will never use boots opticians again!

Although my appointment wasn’t on time the attention and professionalism made up for it. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be using this practice from now on
