Excellent all round service. From visiting the showroom to choosing our fire the whole experience was of a very professional nature. Our fire was delivered and installed and again all carried out in a professional manner. The two young guys that made our delivery (one of whom also dealt with us, very patiently on purchase) were a credit to themselves and also the company.If any reason was required to purchase ‘locally’ then this company are an example to follow.

Contacted shop during lockdown and shared house plans as requested. Received initial drawings, but then despite follow-up emails from me, I got no further response. Visited shop this week after lockdown and received apology and they arranged a site survey for this week. Sam the survey guy turned up with spec for the wrong fire, so I had to provide correct documents. He then surveyed inside and out and left. Today I got an email to see they wouldn't fit 'for safety reasons' but did not say why! My presumption is the proximity of hedge near rear vent, but had this been discussed with me I would have agreed to remove or trim the hedge to comply, but I am none the wiser based on a short one sentence email with no detail. Appalling service from start to finish!!

Quality products, quality service. I had a full 'media wall' and fire installed with full limestone base, and received excellent service from start to finish. They even hung the TV for me and when I had a small issue with it, they returned to sort it without any quibbles. I couldn't get the app to work for the fire but Bart got that sorted for me too! Can't fault them and their prices are very good. Highly recommend.

Bought an ACR Trinity log burner and flue system, which was installed by another business recommended by them.The cost was reasonable and the standard of service and installation was excellent. Highly recommend this company.

I used Fires and Fireplaces after a friend recommended them. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and, if you are DIY like me, happy to help you through design and Building Regulations. I ordered a slate hearth which was made to my template in two weeks. It fits perfectly, beautifully finished and very reasonably priced. Lovely company to deal with.

Very pleased with the service I received and the fire that they fitted for me. I needed my fire replacing because of a fault and the staff at fire and fireplaces couldn't of been more helpful. They kept me upto date and informed every step of the way, to as and when my new fire was going to be delivered. From the moment the new fire arrived in thier store, they were on the phone to me to arrange fitting for the next day. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone of my friends who are looking for a decent fire and fire place to be fitted. Service from when we went in to the showroom & choosing the fire that we wanted & having it fitted was excellent. All the staff I dealt with were all very polite, professional & very friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble & were very helpful at all times. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone thinking of having a new fire fitted.

Very happy with service from start to finish. Staff in shop left you to look around but were there to help if needed. We had an old fireplace and gas fire out and a new one in and the 2 fitters who did the work were both marvelous. They covered the flooring of our bungalow and cleaned up as they went. The job took 3 hours in total and they worked hard and did a lovely job. Excellent!

Brilliant service from when I first visited showroom to having new gas fire, fireplace, liner and hearth fitted and all old parts taken away. Would highly recommend this firm
