Candice is well trusted among friends and relatives and always provides a fantastic service, to schedule, and at a reasonable cost.I’ve had all of my suits altered here and would look nowhere else for a professional job! Candice always has helpful advice and is very accommodating with any request. With a heavy heart, I've decided to leave a review with my experience.I went to Candice in early January for a bespoke dress to be made for my wedding in September. Every time I went candice was lovely, it was a very slow progress, as we struggled to get the support required in my bodice, I kept trusting that it would all come together in the end. As it fell to last couple of weeks before my wedding, I still hadn't seen a completed dress, I still had faith that it would all come together, however it didnt. I tried my dress on the day before we flew to our destination as the finished item for the first time, I didn't feel 100% happy with, the list is endless as to what was wrong with it, I didn't want to feel stressed and angry, I took my dress and wore it for my ceremony, needless to say that after about 1 hour, it had started to come apart, beading was falling off, the edges were fraying. It didn't fit me properly at all, I wanted a wrap skirt which is what I had, however I had suggested that at the top of the skirt the 2 sides were joined together to stop it pulling apart over my underwear and she said there was no need, obviously there was. I had to walk down the isle not holding my flowers but holding my dress together to keep my dignity. I went to the toilet to take my dress off as it was so uncomfortable and saw bright red marks around my middle where Candice had cut my bones out of my bodice which I wanted them down to my hips and she had cut them to under my chest, meaning that everytime I sat down they dug in. After a couple of hours I was forced to make my bridesmaid get changed and give me her dress as I didn't have any other option. Upon my return to the U.K. I saw pictures of the dress on me and you can see it didn't fit me properly, there was excessive gaping on the back, the waist band wasn't sewn on properly, resulting in it rolling up. The bodice over my chest gaped, it was so unflattering and embarrassing. I took my dress out of the bag to look at it and discovered the workmanship was so poor, things had been hand sewn not machine sewn, not neatly and not well enough hence things falling off and apart. I asked for a full refund which I got, however this hasn't resolved how gutted I am. I don't have a wedding dress that I wanted to love and never take off. My pictures I feel embarrassed and can't stand to see them because of how unflattering the fit was, then the fact that it actually fell apart, I feel so annoyed that I kept putting my faith into Candice in that in the end it will all work out, the cost of my dress was nearly £1300 which I could buy a pretty amazing dress for that! If I had seen these pictures as a review I would never have gone to her, I don't really understand where it went wrong, or why she felt that what she made was acceptable for this amount of money, I feel ripped off, Mis sold, and that's my wedding day that I will never have again.

Had my bridesmaid dresses from them last year they were so beautiful, alterations done also and on my dress. staff very friendly and professional, good value, very happy with quality of the dresses and alterations that were made, that good we have gone back to them this year for alterations needed for my sisters wedding dress and the bridesmaids. They are also currently making a dress for my mom which looks amazing so far very talented ladies.

Candice made me a short wedding dress for my day in the summer...Absolutely first class service from start to finish. Everyone who either saw it on the day or have seen pics since have given me lovely compliments on the style of dress and how they said it suited me perfectly. Infact Candice has posted a photo of the dress on her website(pic with my 2 sons)!..Her new wedding dress& alteration shop is ideal and she has altered lots of bits and pieces for us never letting me down. Keep up the great work!!

Absolutely thrilled to bits with the service I have recieved off Candice over the last few years. Firstly I had my wedding dress altered and customised which was lovely I have also been bridesmaid twice recently and Candice sorted both dresses i also recommend my sister in law to go here for her wedding dress and she couldn't of been happier with her dress and the whole process.Such a professional service and truly great people who will go above and beyond to make everything perfect for you.Keep up the outstanding work I will keep recommending you and will hopefully see you in the near future :)

Beautiful shopFound cindy belles on Facebook and read some of the amazing reviews on there. I initially went to have some jeans altered, which were done perfectly and was made to feel comfortable and welcome. Then I recommended the shop to my niece who was looking for a prom dress, she was able to get a stunning dress and because cindy belles also does all the sewing, it was altered perfectly for her.

Candice, I am so grateful to have found you for ensuring that my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses were perfect for the big day. You are truly talented and this shows through your excellent work. The buttons that you added to my dress made all the difference in the finer details and this is reflected in my beautiful wedding photos. The split that you added to the front of my dress looked like it was always there! Your craftmenship still amazes me! You have beautiful accessories too and the hair clips finished off my veil perfectly! And I will be sure to come back to you if I need anything else amending. I wanted to get my wedding dress altered from a local seamstress, and Candice did an incredible job. I needed it altered to fit me (including long sleeves), the hem raised, a bustle added, and the open back filling in.The dress ended up fitting me so nicely, and I felt so much more confident wearing it with a back panel added. The lace appliques were a lovely touch, and a great solution to preserve the original look.I had 3 fittings in total, and they were all straight forward and efficient - I couldn't be happier with my experience!
