No.10 Bar and Restaurant
Cosy basement bar and restaurant in central Aberdeen. Tried the Sunday Roast with a few extras sides (Mac n cheese, pigs in blankets). Food was very tasty but as the restaurant was busy it was a wee but slow in coming. Efficient staff. Price was around 110 GBP for five, including drinks.

Had the scallops that tasted okay but was very fishy. The mains which was the steak burger had additional crispy onions and bacon. Onions were burnt and old and bacon was rock solid and not fresh. Told the middle aged waitress who did not give a rat’s backside so i reiterated to a different waitress who was more apologetic. Worst meal i have had in Aberdeen so far. This was embarrassing. The restaurant was pretty empty the whole night too which explains why

Good restaurant, delicious well prepared food, staff a little sleepy and listless. Nicely furnished bar and restaurant. Booking recommended, very well attended. All in all a successful evening

Starter and desert were okay, but spoiled by a seriously undersalted Moussaka. The other diners in my party seemed to enjoy their meals though.

Friendly efficient service, both at the bar and at the table, and the food tasted great. The music wasn’t too loud and it was obviously liked by the locals as a place to meet up and swap gossip.I had the lamb| excellent, and a side salad which had a subtle but tasty dressing. It’s situated in a grand looking area that felt very safe.

Excellent food!Excellent service with attentive waiter.We had a very good meal. Everything we ordered was great,:Starters: prawn (top recommendation), scallop, garlic bread.Mains: Sunday beef roast (top recommendation), lamb cutlets, ribeye.Dessert: Chocolate fudge cake and pistachio ice cream was excellent.Highly recommended restaurant.

The food and drinks were excellent. We had to eat in the bar as the restaurant was full, however there is no complaints with that. Food was slow to arrive but the service was outstanding

Bit disappointed as was so looking forward to the Sunday roast having been before but small portion this time and just not the same. Coffee was lukewarm but perhaps I should have said I wanted my latte hot. I have left 4 stars as it was still tasty however compared to some other customers Sunday roast I felt mine was small lol - I mean goodness it was enough really as we do eat too much but having had a roast before there it sadly was not the same.
