DLS (DIVE LIFE SHOP)

Wish I read the reviews before making the purchase. Pretty much the same as all other frustrating comments as below - no communication at all with out of stock items and you can’t get a response at all with their chat bot.

Fantastic shop. Visited last weekend and could not fault anything. The man who helped us was very attentive and informative, offering good advice on wetsuits and other diving equipment and when I could not find a suit to fit properly he took my measurements and ordered me one to be delivered, which it was and it turned up today and I love it (thank you). If only I lived closer, as I would definitely visit again. Highly recommend visiting

Online sales - patchy service at best. Have let me done a few times now and the comms are non-existent. Weeks for a delivery of gloves that were showing in stock on their website and still no sign of them. Best avoid - alternatively you won’t go wrong with Aquanauts online shop (Plymouth)

Waited months on item arriving as out of stock only for them to be sent while I was on holiday. I dont always check emails so missed the update from DiveLife. No notification from post office and eventually item returned to store. No issues so far. Then received a phone call from one of the most abrupt, patronising people I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. Some American guy who clearly had an attitude and complete lack of customer service experience. Never again! Absolutely appalling! Avoid this place like the plague.** 12 days on and still no refund issued so far. No replies to emails either**

I place an order two weeks ago, all items were in stock and suppose to be shipped within two days, no news even with several emails and chat message.... Impossible to cancel order.

Had placed an order over for a week now. Payment was confirmed that's it. Silence. Like the experience of others, I've reached out through different communications channels. Dive Life Store made no attempts to reply and even acknowledge the messages.Scroll down and you'd see similar complaints from other customers (esp reviews made this year). The business has either shut or this is a scam.

I went today with my son and we had a really great time. The instructors were patient with us and gave us all the training we needed. We were literally in the water for 1hr and loved every minute. They were there for us and made sure we enjoyed it, rather than just dictating. We were so comfortable under water - which was only because the instructor was so clear and gave us great training.I have been scuba diving once before but was very impressed with the care the instructors gave us.I can not recommend this place enough.We absolutely loved it. Thank you

Two separate orders for small items that showed as 'ships in 2 - 3 days'. Both items pretty normal standard things that any decent dive shop would have. First order took 7 days to arrive, the second 15. Unimpressive, especially as shipping totalled £14.50 for two small packets.

Please avoid this store. Save your time, energy and money. I tried to purchase an item they advertised as ‘in stock’ and never got anywhere. After confirmation of my order I wait a week and receive no disapatch details. So I had to contact DLS as they hadn’t informed me of any delays. Response I get - ‘we had to get one in from supplier, but should be sent to you this week’….A week later no dispatch details and zero communication from DLS so I reached out again… this time ‘we still haven’t received it from supplier, I will contact them again’… another week and half later - nothing. So I contact DLS again and have to wait 2 days for a response just to say we haven’t got it we can issue you a refund…. Great! so after nearly a month of you taking my money, zero communication initiated from your side I am left with a few days to try and find this equipment before a dive trip. If you could have been honest from the very start, informed me that your web-sight was incorrect and the item was not in stock I would have ordered else where or initiated the refund earlier. Quite possibly some of the worst customer service dept or lack of one. Working days are Tuesday-Thursday. So good luck trying to get a response on any day other then these.As previously said. Stay away. Use mikes dive store or DIR Direct.
