Went down Saturday and wondered why so many people. It was the oyster festival. Lots to do in the Harbour from art and crafts sheds to food and drink sheds. Boat rides with the RNLI.

Lovely seafood, lovely atmosphere. This is one of my favourite places in Kent. The seaside it’s clean, the market it’s absolutely outstanding. Staff really friendly and reasonable car park prices. Would recommend you to try the fish and chips. It’s the best one that we’ve had.

A wonderfully abundant selection of seafood: we had whelks, king prawn, oysters (of course), fantastically fried calamari with flavour (no 1 for flavour. Most recommended) and octopus salad. There are certainly much more to choose from. Here are our late July pictures. Hope you enjoy Whistable like we did.Two very close by parking areas that requires ticket, we had four hours for £12

Interesting place. The fishing boats and the wharf are a very nice attraction and there are many food, artwork and souvenir stalls. The walk to the beach is a pleasant one.

Fantastic place in the Whitstable Harbour, I loved my food, especially the king prawns, great for sharing. Service was efficient. Ambiance was good and I enjoyed the views

The harbour is small but fun, quite alot of food stalls selling all different varieties of lovely food, none of your flat, tail and hoof burgers here! Lots of sea food to choose from too.Nice stalls selling locally produced artwork and goods, jewellery, ironwork & woodwork as well as beach goodies.Nice place to sit, eat, drink watch the hustle and bustle of harbour life.

I went to harbour market Whitstable by bike, cycling from Canterbury . Once arrived, I have bought some oysters which were relatively cheap and fresh (about 2£) each. The lobster tail was not good, neither the baklava sweets that were so dry and probably there for months. The place has a good vibe and there’s plenty of different shops where you could try mostly seafood .

Visited on a Saturday.Wow, so many different stalls, huge range of food, drink, art, culture, snacks, ice cream, gifts etcIf you get tired, take a seat on one of benches by the sea... Watch the children fish for crabs, listen to the seagulls, feel the sea breeze and sun on your skin. This is what life is about, enough the experience, let yourself go, enjoy the delicious seafood...
